The AGM's are great. You need a smart controller to charge both the House AGM's and the Regular TC battery, The Stock Regulator will not charge both correctly. The AGM's are susceptible to overheating so that must be taken into account. The space of a small rig will make using the battery area for storage of other stuff, So Terminal protection will be necessary.

The only issue with not having the battery in a box is the need to protect the terminals so a major short cannot happen.

Great call on the shift, If that is not right the whole job will suffer. Looks like the pressure plate and the flywheel and the pressure plate will get buffed up. The extra cost when put against the whole project is very small. This project is not a necessity . If it comes out correctly the cost will be worth it. Good show keep us in the loop

Is the shift assembly a cable set up as on most Transverse engine installs? If so the Aftermarket shift is less available.

The Tpms sensors in My Gen 2 do not trigger at 36 lbs so it could work. -
Ford Transit Connect CNG Enters More Taxi Fleets
G B L replied to Transit Connect Guide's topic in CNG Natural Gas Powered
If the engines are set up for CNG the valves should last . Not sure if the Gen 1's had the option. The gen 2's had to be ordered with the Propane Cng Head option. Hard Valve seats and up rated valves. The 1.6 Turbo had the valve and valve seat up grade. Have you thought of putting a top cylinder oiler on the Fleet cars? -

if you have the roof rails then there are lots of options. The Curt hitch is an easy install and works perfect. The one I put on mine has had lots of use. -

Nice. If you can get the OEM Part you should have them put the console in the box also. The direct fit will pay for itself! What are you doing with the Old Power plant?

That is a great question and should be answered before the trek to Alaska.

Very nice . Looks like you have Spring also.

The stock 16 inch wheels are 6.5 wide.with a 50mm offset. Any Picture's mrtn

The nice thing about a standard 14-14 Rv install is if the unit ever croaks then the replacement is much easier. The TC is Small so the standard inside vent setup would work well. The Hitch out the back gives you the option of a swing away basket on the back for the generator. Your plan is coming together

You could be correct Don . I will find out and let you know.

The only issue with leaving Accessories on is with all the computers in the Cars now you could end up with a no start . It would be a good Idea to add a Good Booster pack to the accessory's . This would prevent a morning swearing session after a good night's sleep.

Good info Don. I think that if the tire had been designed to Run at 26PSi it would have been ok, but the tire was not a full redesign but a relabeled 35PSi tire.

The switched 12v sockets seem to be an Asian car thing, I have had several Subaru's and the sockets are controlled with the ignition . The ford.com sight has the PDF but you have to look for it.

Great looking wheel mrtn The 16' are big enough for me also. In fact the next set of tires for mine are going to be 215 /60/16 Extra load's . This will add .5 " or 13mm to the sidewall height, I will see if this improves the ride.

If you are doing City driving only then you are right on the money. 4000 lb car and stop and go.
