  1. If the wiper arms are tight on the posts , then you will need to go through the timing procedure. A good scan tool will make this easy.
  2. I hope to here about the thing you have with a photo!
  3. The switches on the lights have positions that allow them to come on with the door opening. Check the Manuel .
  4. This just another little annoyance on the TC from ford ! The information is there from the Tpms but ford does not make it available on the display. If you don't have a scan tool , use a manual gauge to find the low tire. If the sensor was bad it would be a different warning. Just a another Ford better Idea.
  5. That would be very good news if true . I will have to research that. The 3.7 is a good choice for a Transit 150 that is not overloaded . I hope you are correct . I will check into it and update.
  6. Mine is closing in on 170000 . Make sure to keep the transmission fluid changed. The biggest issue I will have is the vehicle rusting due to life on a Vermont roads. The transit will do fine when properly equipped with suitable tires . If you find one with posi-traction so much the better. The 3.7 no turbo is adequate power. the biggest drawback with this engine is the timing chain driven water pump. It is very expensive to replace {1200-2500$}, sometime in 120000-160000 range. If neglected it will ruin the engine, The 3.5 Eco boost has a belt driven pump which is better but the High stress turbo charger setup has its own set of expensive issues. If you are looking keep that in mind. The bigger the box the more fuel it takes to move it around.
  7. That is very possible. It would be nice if we had a picture looking straight at the wheel . Maybe we will get one. Hint Hint.
  8. Did you walk around under it while it was on the lift? It had to be from the drive line. was some one in the car to change the speed and gears ? To check the brain hum put some Muffs on!
  9. The steering wheel is off center. at some point the Toe adjustment was set and the wheel was not centered . It was done when the alignment was checked. Any good alignment shop will be able to correct this. Not a big deal but a definitely a mental annoyance!
  10. Great post ! Any thing for All the Real old man's problems.
  11. Trans fluid check and flush. It will take 12 -14 qts to do it .
  12. Sorry for being Lax. The codes should tell something. With that many miles checking the harness connection to the trans for corrosion could help . As for the fluid I changed mine to Triax universal at 35000 and now the out going fluid at 30000 mile increments it still very red. It sounds electrical . If your scan tool allows a shift relear could be done. Waiting for the next up date! You are also allowed to be lax.
  13. Have you ever done a Scan? were there any codes? After it acts up does it go back to normal ? If it does it sounds like it could have solenoid issues. What does the fluid look like?
  14. Don is correct on all counts!

    Water leak

A Picture would be helpful, we do not have that engine over here. if the coolant gets too low bad things can happen.

    Water leak

What year and which engine? Can you get a photo of the housing?
  17. This will require a Good Scan tool or For scan to figure out.
  18. Understandable. The rubber oil pump drive belt in the 2.7 kind of lets you know where things are headed.
  19. This is is designed to do what you want. Put it on the front O-2 sensor it should help with the code. Lots of people sell them.
  20. This is the Hand truck I have in My TC . Serves my purpose and stores almost any where
  21. Is the engine running different than it has in the past? Is there any sign of contamination in the oil? If the answer is no then a code scan is in order. Then a static pressure test of the cooling system would be next. How many miles are on the TC? The Head gasket replacement will be a sizeable job Involving the front engine cover and cam shaft timing chains , Intake and exhaust manifold removal. It could include a valve job for the head . All the hoses and water pump need to be checked and the radiator end caps need to be looked at. If nothing obvious is found 1/2 a bottle of this won't hurt and could save the Day. I have used this as a permanent fix more than once! Good luck and update us when you can.
  22. Sounds like the first thing is a good scan with Forscan or a good scantool. Pull The ABS Motor fuse and see if the lock up is stopped. Does it lock up if the brakes are used with the power off? keep us up dated, Thanks.
  23. My TC is a 2014 , I used this to reattach mine in early 2015, and that has been the end of that!
  24. Sorry I copied it from your post. But it is still worth while.
