  1. If a real set of doors with OEM style windows are between 125 and 200 dollars and are a bolt fit with a Rattle Can paint finish then the whole project can be accomplished . The only real question is how many hours of mental angst can a few hundred dollars avoid. The OEM doors will provide the best outcome from a vision stand point!
  2. not hard lots of clips did they break the plastic?
  3. A A set of Spring compressors would shorten the assembly enough to slip the fitting in
  4. Great Job. As a person who has had campers for 40 years. Having your own toilet is at the top of all my Camper lists.
  5. Hey You don't have to leave, The Maverick has the all wheel drive we all want. Stay around and let us know how the Maverick turns out!
  6. Wet and Dry compression test will tell alot.
  7. Can you control the transmission solenoids with the Forscan? If so see if they all cycle. It could be the PCM but a weak solenoid could also cause the condition. Waiting to hear more in August.
  8. This web sight has lots of info.(open the Screen shot in a new image and tap to enlarge)
  9. Sounds like the two solenoids that control 3 and 4 work in tandem with a speed sensor to allow the TTC to lock up. I wonder if there is a kit that contains all the solenoids . That would allow you to drop the pan and replace all the parts at once . The forscan will help.
  10. There must be a solenoid in the Transmission that controls the TCC, I don't have your diagram but there is a solenoid! You need an upper end Scan tool or Fortrans to make progress.
  11. Use this and treat it several days in a row.
  12. Do the wheel bearing first and the Cat and then take it for a drive, drain and fill the trans take a good look at the fluid and see if there are fillings or debris in the fluid. The wheel bearing noise and vibration are in the way of the trans diagnosis. Is the rest of the van in good shape , if so finding a replacement could be a real task.
  13. If you find the fuel line to the fuel rail and disconnect it you can jump the fuel pump relay and pump the fuel out. To bad you made a full tank of contaminated fuel. If you get it out you can put it through the lawn mower and dirt bikes. The damage that you will do is contaminate the converter which can get coated with the lead and shut down, the same goes for the O2 sensors , the rest of the engine will not care about the lead. If you reduce the performance of the converter it will set a code and you could need to replace the converter, not a small job on the 2015 with a 2.5. keep us posted.
  14. The parts are less than 150 and if it takes longer than 2 hours on a 2021 the mechanic is taking a nap. Around here that sort of rust on brakes is normal
  15. These will help with the rust, lots of short drives in the winter in Michigan will maximize the rusting.
  16. When you do get the wheels off , fix the problem with a regular lug nut !
  17. When you turn on the key do you hear the pump cycle? If not pull the relay and jump the relay see if the pump runs. A good Scan tool would be a great help at this point.
  18. If the electric's all get together and come up with an interchangeable battery then it might make sense as a usable vehicle, until then it won't work for me.
  19. You can if you are clever but the whole thing new is 34. and change at rockauto. How much is your time worth.
  20. OK, that is good to know, Still we won't get to see one here unfortunately. Still no barn doors on the wagon version ?
  21. A good wiring diagram with all the plug locations will be a great help, pull clean and wd-40 every plug you can find.
  22. Very cool, I don't have a video 0f me on the step ladder. The end result is a transmission with clean fluid. Which engine did you get in the new TC?
