  1. Sounds like both Conversion Companies could do a conversion top and inside unit for the TC. Looks like a nice job. 26000 + is a formidable price for a small camper.
  2. If I were dropping the pan to change the filter I would make sure that it went back on with a drain plug. That would make the fluid flush a very easy job. If there is a problem with mixing the the fluid it will be noted on the speck sheet for the ATF. Valvoline's web site will have the PDF
  3. Once you have Primed the panels there are lots of Automotive paints that have lots of effects. There are wrinkle paints Speckled paints , Flocking finishes lots. Keep us posted on what you do, don't forget the pictures
  4. The wagon sliders Have Full plastic panels that complete the wagon interior. I am sure that they would fit .
  5. Don what brand are your ramps? They must have the right ramp angle. The ramps in your picture have too much ramp angle.
  6. If you go into ford parts the panels are available in Black Plastic for the wagon version. They are the same as the van and look great.
  7. Remove it carefully and use a small amount of pipe sealant on the thread if there is no gasket. looks like an easy fix
  8. Is everything the same on the new intercooler except the Thrust sensor port ? If it is then the Thrust sensor port could be added to it .
  9. Most of the Fluid that will not drain when the plug is pulled is in the Converter. If you Refill and run for 1 or 2 Min that oil is pushed out of the converter and back to the sump. If you do at least 3 drain and fills then you will get the old fluid out faster with less Mixing. The exchange will happen faster.
  10. Sounds like a Dukes of Hazard movie !
  11. I have changed the trans fluid twice at about 22000 miles(36000+ Km) and 53000 miles (88300 + Km) .The fluid was noticeably dark both times. I have several trailers I tow and live in hilly terrain. The fluid works hard and shows it . The cooler line is hard to Access so I use the multiple drain and fill method. There is a post I did with pictures if you want to check it out.
  12. I thought about it but 15" rims will not clear the calipers and rotors on the Gen 2.
  13. I don't live in the western mountains where the turbo would help the altitude induced power loss, but in the mountains where I live the engine finds its up hill stride after 3000 rpms.
  14. The synthetic that Don purchased is compatible with the Mercon LV.
  15. 4k won't shift it in S mode if you are standing on it 5600-6000 will do it.
  16. This cars power is from 3000 to 5000 Rpm's When you remember that the Performance is fine. It is busy when you need to get busy. In the western mountains a 4000 lb car needs 120-140 hp to get up and go.
  17. The fuel system needs to be protected for the elevated corrosion that high alcohol fuel brings. The seals and rubber parts need to be changed to alcohol rated products , Edelbrock and Holley both make performance Carburetors that are calibrated to run E-85 . The Indy 500 has run methanol , Ethanol and E-85. The high octane allows for lots of power to weight and the ability to extinguish fires with water is an added benefit. The fuel mileage and cost are a secondary concern .
  18. There are no extra coolers and the brakes are the same. I have pulled 3 different trailers with mine and the brakes are completely adequate for the rated weight of a trailer. I added a Curt Hitch and wiring kit to mine so I do not have the Trailer Module. The Transmission seems fine and shifts well when Pulling the trailers.
  19. I suspect is is just the Weight. The tow package has a software adjustment to the Stability Module for a trailer sway .
