  1. The Floor Jack under the Lower control arm placed carefully will work the same as it always has leaving the Pinch weld area for the Jack stand. The rear lower spring mount will provide an easy point to raise the TC . This leave the Rear jacking point free for the Jack stand. The Max Jack is a shorter version of a two post lift. The shop floor is drilled for Expansion bolt sockets that allow the lift to be easily removed to be rolled into the corner for storage.
  2. Sounds like there is a harness or connector issue. Does your scanner have live data.
  3. The 215 55 16 XL carry a rated load of 1609 ea. The wheels need to be better than that by a reasonable margin.
  4. My 2014 is black and several of my friends call it the Bread Truck ! I think it might become a trend.
  5. Tire Rack Has steel 16"OE Rims for $62.00 ea
  6. Very nice Job. I am always interested in the blow by blow install descriptions
  7. The wagon version came with the mats and pins to keep them from sliding. Mcfly is your TC Gen 1 or Gen 2?
  8. If the cooler lines are easy to access then the the transmission flush is a good easy option. If there is a drain plug like the Gen 2, then flushing is accomplished by multiple drains
  9. I have changed a lot of trans filters. Most had only small amounts of debris. The real benefit Is the changing the heat stressed fluid.
  10. The length thread depth, electrode configuration is set when the combustion chamber is designed. The twin cam set up determines the style and location of the plug. The pricing is part cost and part coporate voodoo.
  11. These Plugs will be good for your Transit connect NGK 3403 G-Power Platinum Alloy Spark Plug TR55GP
  12. Style over Function! Is this your first Car?
  13. I am not sure where you Are , suspect the EU. If your TC is is a 2015-17 You are Euro 6 emissions and it is way more involved than just the Cat. The CPU compares the two O2 sensors . It also uses a liquid-reductant agent is injected through a catalyst into the exhaust of a diesel vehicle . I think that what you are about to attempt will not improve things and the repair cost will be formidable
  14. The issue you might have is the Aging of the tires rendering them unsafe.
  15. I have a repair business that takes me to the Coast North of Boston, A lot of Boat Yards and Yacht Clubs. What I would or could do at home Might result in a set of handcuffs and the back seat of a Black and White!!
  16. Tiller great job with your rig looks like you are maximizing your fun. As for the porta-potty As I do not use My Tc for camping It does not have one, but in my larger service van I have had one for over 10 years. Getting caught behind a bush or tree is not a good Idea where I operate!
  17. Thanks for the links, The second link is really great and will be very useful
  18. Mrtn is correct you need a scan first.
  19. Most of trailers here have only have combined brake, tail and turn signal lights. The harness adapters for sale add power and combine the light functions. The 7 pin connector adds 12volt power and electric brakes.
  20. Here is my full write up 57600 miles the Rear Continentals were down to the Wear bars. The Continentals went about 42000. Replaced them with a set of Sumitomo Tire HTR A/S P02 Performance Radial Tire - 215/60R16 99V load index. The first impressions are very good. They were round and easy to Balance not needing much weight . The handling is comparable . The TC seems unaware of the 3% increase in the circumference. The Speedometer is 2 MPH low, no issue for me. The ride quality is noticeably better. While I was there the Rear pads were at 20% and the disc's were rusting (dirt roads and winter salt) . New Pads and rotors , (Rockauto $11.85 pads $14.56 ea. rotors )The brakes are now back to new. The front brakes are at 50 % so they will go further.Time will tell how good the tires are. It was originally posted in How many miles on the stock tires
  21. That is the same thing as the guys that use to run the Amoco (106) or the Sunoco 260 (103)
