Nokian makes very good winter tires, The Fins know how snow tires work.
-
Then the manual information I purchased as a PDf down load must come from the same place because the Illustrations and wiring information is the same. If you get the Deluxe edition you get some hyperlinks with more info.

Welcome aboard, The photos are very nice you have a very well rigged TC.
-
The manual is available from the web sight and is a pdf version of the factory manual. The cost is reasonable and the pdf is very complete. When you purchase you give the vin of your TC and it is set up for your vehicle with a complete Line ticket. https://www.factory-manuals.com/expand-ford-transit-connect-2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-factory-repair-manual-344.html

A Very Nice Job you have done!!

The 50 and 55 aspect ratio seem to be very popular on Lots of cars. The 225/50/18 on the Malibu that's in the fleet is much harder to get tires at a reasonable price.

Sound's like you have enough information to write a great manual it could be a best seller
-
Do you have a service manual for the Kids?
-
I have 3 snow seasons with the TC, It is not the best winter vehicle I have had but it it is acceptable with good winter tires. You must get proficient at turning the Traction control off . Once you are able to control this feature then you will have a fairly capable vehicle.

Excited owner of new to me 2014 Transit Connect XLT (SWB) wagon

That was the reason that I went with the 215/60/16. The performance difference for the 2.5 and the 1.6 is very small but the ride improvement is the real bonus. -
The fact that the blower intake is on the floor under a seat makes the ingestion of Debris a real possibility.

Right Don that's the load range you need. The 215/60/16 I put on my TC were a 99H load range so tires with an adequate load rating are available. -
The fact that It sat for 10 days and now has a problem says bad electrical connection to the ECU, check the grounds and fuses.

You might take the Rear air filter and check for debris in the fan this could be the cause of the motor problems. The two blower are completely different parts and the parts diagram at Fordparts.com should provide a number and diagram. The factory manual from the site that PhotoAl references is a very good value.

Life Lived correctly ends 100% of the time.

The only answer is to only take the Miata on very long trips on sunny days that will maximize the fun and limit the hip pain!!

Nice looking wheels. If you get the wrong State Trooper here the Proud rear wheels could be an issue.
-
If you have the right equipment dealing with the snow is just another thing. Not having to worry about a wildfire or a major drought is a definite plus.

If you have the car for 15-20 years you and the seats age about thew same.

Use the Blue ones, the police will love the blue strobe's ! -
I think that some cars are better than others, but the more snow driving experience you have the better the cars seem to drive.
