  1. Hey Don could you post a Picture of your ramps?
  2. If you live in the salt rust belt the Stainless capped nuts will become an issue at some point. The proper wrench , Torque wrench and anti-seize won"t hurt but the end result will still be frustration, if the nuts are not replaced in time!
  3. I have used the cooler line method lots of times on lots of cars, if you run 3 qts out at a time the pump fill not run dry. The 2014 TC has a drain plug and the cooler line is very hard to access. The drain fill , drain fill method is better suited to the Gen 2. The total capacity is under 9 qts,A 12 qt case will do the job. Lifetime fluid could mean almost anything. Ford is only worried about the TC making 60000mi or 100000k, after that all bets are off.
  4. Ah seat belts! I cracked the Windshield of a 1951 Ford Sedan standing on the front seat. I Remember my dad out in the Driveway with a wood drill putting in seat belts in the 1955 Buick Special. I guess he was a good dad!!
  5. If your plywood transport needs are occasional and TC has Barn doors , you can fold the seats flat and Put a 1X8 Vertically along one of the Wheel wells and The plywood will ride nicely there. Welcome aboard Looks like you found a nice one.
  6. I you get the TC up so you can have good access you could find a way to unload it and free up the cable. I bet if you loosen the mount you will be able to free the cable. Good Luck and keep us posted.
  7. That would be my choice also, good call
  8. If you can raise the TC as high as possible then the cable will wind up better with the cable straight and loaded .
  9. Ford is trying to keep the Mileage up for the Transit Connect . A performance version is not in the Cards.
  10. The shift patterns of the Trans definitely change. The New fluid could have changed the shift quality.
  11. It could. Do a good job cleaning the whole Valve cover area, then watch the whole area to see where it gets wet with oil first. Keep us posted
  12. Not sure where you are located, but you might want to check with your attorney generals office, You might have some recourse it there was a TSB on your issue especially considering the timing.
  13. Knowing where you are I am not surprised at your View!!

  15. The small van being a much more important part of the EU market gives the buyer a lot more options . We here are envious over here .

    New for us

welcome there are lots of people doing the van camper route , lots of info here. You both should Rent an F350 Crew cab for a day, it will take the edge of the fuel mileage shock!
  17. Does the Trans leak when it sits ? How much is it leaking? When you changed the axle did you change the carrier bearing on that side?
  18. Looked at the video nothing stood out. Must be oil on the exhaust manifold from some where. Where do you see the fresh oil first after you clean the area?
  19. You cannot buy a Titanium Van you will have to option the seats and radio and windows into the van. The one advantage is that you can still have swing doors if you want them. Most of what you want can be optioned in if you can wait for the build. Keep us posted on what you do, sounds like a good build.
  20. Looks like a good choice for your needs. The Major issue is that the transmission fluid level check procedure is not user friendly. You will master it and it should provide good service. My experience is that the fluid in the Transmission works hard so I drain and flush mine at 25000 mi intervals. Welcome aboard.
  21. That has been done by me, although not on the TC Yet.
