  1. Its like having your Dad in the back seat on a date!
  2. I hope that this is a good option for your business. I am sure you will keep us posted on the good and not so good. As for the rear door Mine is a passenger configuration so the larger rear slider is more value for me. In any event there will not be a Citroën Berlingo available in the US any time soon , leaving no real choice in the work/ small passenger van market here.
  3. I have a set that are very similar, but I have had them longer than harbour freight has been around!
  4. Does that mean the LPG Tc going away? Do you think the smaller side door will be a minus or not really important.
  5. That is the way i did mine 3 times at 25000 intervals. I did a post on the procedure with pictures , look it up.
  6. Looks good . If you see one get a picture of one with swing doors, that would be cool. I am pretty sure that we will not get to test one any time soon, unfortunately
  7. All i can say is when you live on a dirt road brake dust is not first on the list.
  8. The stop and go driving and hill climbs unlock the converter. Most of the heat is generated by the converter. The hotter the fluid runs the shorter the life. Looks like your fluid has the same look as mine when i changed it. I think the 25000 mile interval is about all you want this fluid to go. On my other van and pickup the temp stays around 160 unless I am towing. The fluid stays clear much longer.
  9. Before you put the jumpers from the truck did you check the battery voltage? If the voltage goes below a certain level the electrical cut off goes into play. It might take the voltage rise of the truck running to reset the protection.
  10. Have you tried a higher performance pad when you replaced them? My Tc is loaded with tools and I often pull a 1600 Lbs trailer. mine get replaced because the road salt makes the disc's rust.
  11. A good floor jack used under the front control arm and the Rear spring perch will let the TC be jacked up high enough to put a jack stand under the reinforced pinch weld area. Harbor freight has a nice aluminium jack for around 70.00.
  12. That would have resulted in a very long ride to Paris .Life is not always the way you planed it, I am not a fan of the potential gas station drive off . Another benefit is that you are sure to get it into park before you step out.
  13. It will be interesting to see how it plays. Chrysler tried to sell the push button shifter for a number years here. I Still want a Steering column lock with a Key . I hope it is well put together . If you ever get it up on a lift Take some pictures.
  14. I check and change the plugs on a time basis. The Platinum plugs tend to not miss fire for a long time. Pulling the plugs to make sure they do not corrode into the head is my real reason for pulling them out. While they are out I put in new ones .
  15. I think that is reasonable. If you get the LWB does the slide door get longer like the TC or is it the same size as the SWB?
  16. Here is another opinion of no merit , I have changed mine 3 times at 25000 intervals . the out going fluid has looked the same each time. I used Mercon fluid , Valvoline trans Max and this last one was Triax fluid I will report back on the Triax in 18000 miles
  17. What is the Hp rating of the engine you chose? What is the trailer tow rating? Are you inclined to replace Your TC with one of these?
  18. Good photo, glad you were not rear ended by a texting driver. I have done lots of public street service over the years , including a clutch job on a VW Square Back in front of a pizza parlour.
  19. For the most part that is true , I will see a slight rise when I get into the hilly highways around Vermont when the converter is working harder.
  20. I have a set of these on the TC . Closing in on 16000 miles and they have run very well . 215-60 16, XL load range and relatively quiet. 21. The Scan tool I use gives Real time data on the Fluid temp. I have checked the fluid temp on all the Vehicles in my fleet. The TC is at the top for temp. It does not seem to run much hotter even when I am towing a 1500 lb trailer. 10000 miles into the 3rd fluid change . It will be interesting to see how the Triax fluid holds up. The shift quality remains good.
  22. Looks very interesting let us know how it works. 39.97 for that is not outrageous.

You can down load a copy , I would think you could buy a hard copy from Ford.
  24. Is your TC a wagon or van? The side trim would definitely let water into the doors, Check the drains at the bottom of the door.
