  1. Generic off the shelp LED DRL are probably the cheapest way to add them. OEM is probably the easiest: https://www.ford-accessories.ie/transit connect/2014/styling/lighting-systems

    Glow plugs duration

Don't know. There's a relay in the fuse box most likely. Might want to check that.

    Glow plugs duration

There's a timer based on the outside temperature. Don't know if it's ECU driven or standalone. Glow plug condition has no effect on the timer duration. Always goes full time as needed even if all plugs are bad.
  4. Typical, you go looking for a torx bit set and come home with some stuff you never planned on getting.
  5. Nope, I have a vinyl floor with the pins. EU model.
  6. Oh wow. I wonder if the pins were only included with the inclusion of OEM mats.
  7. That’s a nice tool to have. I use a tracked mini digger regularly for stuff around the house. It’s 4200 lbs tho.
  8. Don't worry about it. Iridium is a platinum metal.
  9. No need to buy OEM. You can always find a matching aftermarket plug, they're all pretty much the same in length, give it a millimeter here or there. The plugs are deep down in the hole for most (double) overhead cam engines. OVH are always in the side of the head, I think.
  10. Should be. It’s how it’s attached in the first place. You need to remove the masonite panel inside and it should be somewhat accessible.
  11. You mean the handle has detached and is nowhere to be found or it's blank from the factory?
  12. Sync is not relevant anymore, don’t worry about it. I have the most basic radio with Bluetooth and USB. Its only job is to stream the Bluetooth audio from the phone and does it just fine. There has been sunglass holder talk here recently. Feel free to browse.

    Engine cutting out

The engine coil light flashing means "check engine". May be numerous things: clogged filter or a bad pump. The error code will give you more hints.
  14. And exhaust fumes smell. Dem liberals want to take away leaded gasoline.
  15. Oh wow, didn't even know there's a 4-pin trailer plug but it makes sense for US territory where there are combined brake light/turn signal combos.
  16. I wonder why did Ford leave the compartment out of USDM units. Not that it’s a cheaper car in the US. And the headlight adjustment knob while we’re at it.
  17. There are 13 pins in my EU trailer plug. Can be used with the 7 pin (old type) adapter and it also senses the trailer hooked up so you should be able to rewire it to your US socket.
  18. Weird. Moveable mesh bulkhead means like the rear seat one in Mk1 where you can remove it by undoing just 4 bolts or so? A fixed bulkhead is not moveable by any means. Then there's the cage bulkhead with a door to allow long items to be transported. Less bulkhead means there is none. Probably for conversion. Or check your local regulations if they allow a van without a bulkhead. They don't here.
  19. No. European regulations require a barrier (a bulkhead or cage) between the cargo and passenger compartments to avoid injury due to cargo relocation in case of heavy braking or crash.
  20. The rigid bulkhead in a van model is not structural. It's bolted to the body and easily accessible. The side bolts are visible, roof bolts are hidden behind the headliner and floor bolts under the cargo floor liner. Naturally removing the bulkhead will weaken the structural rigidity by some margin. The passenger models do not have the bulkhead and are doing just fine. As the middle seat belts are bolted to the bulkhead you need to change the seating capacity in the registration papers to two when removing the seat belt. And disable cargo use, possibly.
