  1. Disc brakes come with there own set of issues, watch out what you wish for. The seating the shoes is a good idea. Making sure the shoes are centered is also needed.
  2. A good scan tool or FordScan should be able to tell you which solenoid is setting the code . On that trans the Solenoids are accessible when you pull the pan.
  3. I can fix that move here and the brakes will turn to junk faster so it can all turn to crap together. As for the performance parts you are right not much interest.
  4. That is more likely to be true on a more complicated parts. That wheel bearing is a simple product that is made in a big factory by equipment that has been automated for over 75 years. There are quality issues for sure, but 4 sets in a year ? The one issue that the video addresses but then ignores is torquing the axle shaft nut. when the tec uses an impact wrench on the nut even to run the new nut on is not good. If the bearing is loose or too tight the bearing will self destruct quickly, especially if run at full load.
  5. The antenna , the windshield , and the holes for the roof rack track mount are the only holes in the roof panel. Sounds like a place to start.
  6. Even if the bearings are too small and don't last , 4 sets in a year sounds like an installation issue.

  8. I have not done the coast rev procedure you talk about, nor would I do so. A transmission oil change absolutely would be a good idea at 75000 miles. Remember the computer talks to the transmission and can control the valve body. Shifting into neutral with the stick is no longer the same as it was before there was a transmission computer.. A road test with Fortrans or a advanced scanner will give a good picture . Your test will not give the same picture of condition that it use to.
  9. If there is enough weight in that van to bend that axle , shifting it around will not help.
  10. We have an old license plate we drilled holes in the center of and then used the holes that are now in the correct place! As for the camber change the rear suspension is non adjustable and if there was a camber change it would take a extreme over load to make it and adding extra springs or Timbrens would not help the camber change issue. If the camber is changing then the only thing that would help is to heave something out of the van.
  11. Well I changed out the tires and the OEM Ford TPMS sensors are potted in epoxy so changing the battery is out. New sensors are 15-30 dollars so there you go.
  12. First find some one with one of these , then the sensors can be scanned If they are good you will get the number the tire pressure and the battery condition. Then if all that is good you can get to the bottom of this issue

  15. What is the price? how long are you going to use the van? Is the van in good shape. How much to replace the van?
  16. I have to swap out some tires so when I brake them down I will look at the TPMS sensor and see if there is a way. It will be a couple of weeks.
  17. The magnet only work on the early TPMS units. The rest need the trigger tool or deflating the tire.
  18. Mine is a 2014, It was made early 2014, and it was assembled in 'Spain so the line was in Spain in 2013 .

  20. Yes a pressure test will test tell alot.
  21. Was the low fuel warning on? If not then there are about 50 miles left. Running a car with an in tank fuel pump dry can be very expensive so having more than you thought is a good thing. The readout is about the same as mine.
  22. Nice but we do not have a choice here so we can"t even be angry. If you want the TC here that's what it is.
