  1. Yes that could be an issue. Some of that Foam that the swimming pool noodles are made from could be made into a cover for the Peg saving the tee shirts .
  2. That is going to be hard with out a turbo charger, If you are extremely ambitious you could swap a 2.5 block into it and I suspect there would be a large power gain even with out telling the computer.
  3. While you Think about a big body work project you could take the arm off and unplug the motor!
  4. Sorry, Put in 2014 Transit Connect in the selection menu and Look at the stock 16" wheels and it will come up at the end of the list . The Listing you posted is Correct for the TC and the price is not bad. The Tire Rack price is 82.00, not sure if you can get them sent to the EU
  5. These fit use these as a guide https://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/BigPic.jsp?wheelMake=New&wheelModel=Steel+Wheel&wheelFinish=Black+Painted
  6. Sounds like a short to ground in the fuel pump circuit, find the fuel pump relay and see what the draw is on the pump. It could be a bad (shorted) pump.
  7. If you push the tab that is at 4:00 in your picture the whole wiper assembly will slide out of the U shaped hook on the wiper arm and the new one will attach.
  8. Having Barn doors and the wiper covers are easily removable I can not speak to how hard the wiper motor is to remove, The washer pump is in the front of the TC and sends the fluid back through a hose so its operation is separate from the wiper. A good scan tool will isolate the issue to the motor or circuit.
  9. When it cooled off how much coolant did you add, follow the bleed procedure . When the heat does not work it usually indicates a loss of coolant. Belts tight?
  10. If your check book is big enough and you find the right fabricator it can be done. It might be easier to install the bike mount on the front A frame of the Camper.
  11. Could be the fuel pump, You need a Scan Tool or Forscan. If you turn the ignition on does the fuel pump run for a couple seconds?
  12. Year and how long have you had the battery?
  13. Sounds like we need a fleet picture!
  14. If you load your van, the rear pads work harder than the fronts and are smaller , 110000 mi on the third set of rears , Second set of fronts due to Rust
  15. The 1.6 Eco has 160 Hp and the new one has 120 Hp or minus 25-30 % The taller gears are to make it do the job. Nice looking house and nice looking van Welcome.
  16. If you are going to do it right get one of these. It will make the job better.
  17. If you have ramps that you can get up on or a Lift you can inspect the inside pad with out pulling the wheel. Turning the wheel you can see the calliper also, not as good a view.
  18. This is the series engine in your Transit Connect. Introduced in 2001, it is the evolution of the cast-iron block F-engine. The L-series is used by Ford as their 1.8L to 2.5L Duratec world engine. The L-engine uses a chain-driven DOHC, 16-valve valvetrain with an all-aluminum block construction and cast-iron cylinder liners. Other features include fracture-split forged powder metal connecting rods and a one-piece cast crankshaft.
  19. You could take the belts off and run the engine for 5 minutes and see if the vibration changes.
  20. Good report . I have run these Sumitomo Tire HTR A/S P02 All- Season Radial Tire-215/60R16 99V for 80,000 + miles (2 sets) . Plenty of Dirt roads where I am. The Transmission shifts are unaffected and the Speedometer error is unimportant.
  21. If you cannot find any one check the salvage yards there one there you could measure and you would only have to remove the seat.
  22. You can still leave it in the Acc position. If you have to you can leave it in Neutral and turn the ignition off the column will not lock. Just make sure the wheel straps are tight.
