Sounds like the run solenoid is not being energized when the key is in the start position.

Keyless Entry Keypad
G B L replied to windguy's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs & Remote Start
I have one , it will be interesting to see how long the battery lasts. Once it dies I will do an autopsy and see if the battery could be replaced. -
The way the roof panel is put in and the rack sits in a channel makes the installation of the rack, be it factory or aftermarket a challenge. It is good they found and fixed it. Windshields are just waiting for the next rock!

Cool glad to know the TC is not Haunted

The radio Can be turned on for a short period of time after the key has been turned off, it will play for about 1 hour. I do not remember where but it is explained in the Manual . I have the standard radio.

Just put 2300 miles on a rental Titanium.
G B L replied to tim53's topic in Buying, Leasing, Ordering & Owner Impressions
That Race Red TC will be for sale soon . You should be able to follow that car; I have gone to several used car web sites and the Rental TC's seem to have around 15000 miles on them. The discount could be very good . Hope you find your match. -
Flood - Traction Control Light On

What were the code numbers? There are different level scanners, A good repair station could have one that gives more information. -
Flood - Traction Control Light On
G B L replied to roadready's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
You need a computer scan, that will help pin point where the issue lies. Just replacing parts is not the way to go. The fact It is a flood vehicle will add to the possible issues. good luck -
2014 connect wheel nuts/studs alloy vs steel
G B L replied to Roy Stratford's topic in Wheels & Tires
the nuts should be no issue, My 2014 Xlt wagon has alloys and the supplied spare is a steel wheel if you can access the parts site it should bed easy to get the under car tire lift assembly. Or you could buy the one mrtn will be selling when his Propane conversion is complete. -
Thats excellent. The fact that it is at the regular fuel stations means it is treated the same way as gas and diesel. The tank size will mean close to the same range and if both are used double. really looking forward to the install and the road test.

Ford..com is the us site, when I go to Ford Eu and go to Estonia My comand of your language is not what it should be so I get lost but you might find the parts break down there.

Factory Roof Rails revisited...
G B L replied to ikata's topic in Cargo, Hauling, Towing & Upfit Packages
Is your TC a Van (head liner over the seats only) or a Wagon full head liner -
Looking forward to the install photos

Neat, Is your access to propane easy? How do you handel the road tax? How big is the tank? The price of propane here not low enough to make the conversion worthwhile Maybe in the Midwest. The major reason for propane fuel is engines that run indoors and Auxillery Generator sets, where the fuel does not spoil

I saw a picture in the Uk site. I assume the one in your rig is the same. Because it is not avaliable here the parts book we see does not have it Can you get the parts break down on your ford site?
-
Well at that price difference it will match diesel for cost with performance close to gas. very nice. propane does not have much lubricant in it but the turbo rated valves should be be up to the task. how much for the kit?
-
You are just showing off now Very nice. If you can see if there is a parts break down for that compartment in the parts manual. Thanks
-
I guess Ford learned a lot about tires from the Firestone tire thing . Great Post

That looks like a great rig. The liquid propane would work very well in a direct injection system. Is your cost for propane that much cheaper than Petrol ? The high octane of the propane would allow the computer to maximize the power. What to they say about the total performance. Keep us up to date on your progress.

Unfortunately for us here in the USA we do not get this feature. Too bad for us

If this is not too late. Replace the receiver drier at the same time as the system has been open

Ford Hitch DT1Z-19D520-A
G B L replied to Sparty57's topic in Cargo, Hauling, Towing & Upfit Packages
Nice. I put a Curt hitch on mine . It went on in 30 minutes and did not require any disassembly . It came from E-Trailer . They also had the wiring harness adapter. Take some pictures of your install
