  1. Awaiting more information. Which engine does your TC Have.
  2. You get the Sherlock award for the week. Very Cool thank for the info and picture.
  3. Just as a point of interest the Right slider will not open if the fuel door is open. I have tried. At least one engineer was on top of the situation.
  4. The plug in the Transmission is already there , It is going to be inboard of the battery when i get to it i will take pictures.
  5. The dip stick in the picture is the correct one and it was on the escape through 2013, the 6f-35 that is coupled to the 2.5 is the same. The install will not need the vent tube for the Tc install , the plug is in the correct place on the TC. I will up date when I get to it. There never was a dip stick at the vent location.
  6. You could go to Walmart and get a big umbrella that would do the trick for under $50.00 and you could use it at the beach as an added bonus.
  7. I have. I have the dip stick that goes with the Trans . As i have a lift the plan has not been put into motion. I will let you know how it turns out. On most transmissions the fill tube enters the pan lower than the vent and requires a rubber O ring seal the a leak. The if the dip stick has only one full mark then it is calibrated to the fluid level hot, if there are two marks one will be cold and one will be at operating temp.
  8. If you inflate the tires to the correct air pressure the change in ride quality will be hard to notice. I am not sure if the change is worth it.
  9. There is only 3 K on the fluid you do not have an issue at the moment plenty of time to acquire the measuring tools.
  10. If your TC has any where close to 25000 miles don't wait . The Transmission works the fluid hard.
  11. The ABS Wheel sensors are usually the first thing to give trouble in the ABS Traction control system. Keep us posted.
  12. some where around 2800 -3500 miles. As for the lift at this point on the curve I would have no ambition to do any thing with out it!!
  13. The Traction control off is reset every time you turn the car off. If you want to test it you must start the TC turn the traction control off and take it for a ride .
  14. Synthetic oil and 5500 to 7000 between changes , it goes on the lift to check the trans any way so the oil gets done at the second trans check. I reset the light at the same time.
  15. What is the code number? Do you have access to the live data?
  16. If you go to the information center find the Traction control and switch it off . If it drives ok then there is a problem with the ABS traction control system
  17. I will do the analysis as I pour it into the waste oil tank. The best thing i can do for this gear box is to make sure it has enough fluid and give it a scan for shift issues.
  18. Mine are holding up well for now. When I notice the water getting in I will drill a hole in the bottom to let the water back out!
  19. I have 3 trailers I tow with mine they all run between 1500 and 2000 loaded. Once you get use the engine using the RPM range the TC pulls very nicely. Vermont is not the Rockies , but it has serious hills. If you stay with in the 2000 lbs the braking is completely adequate.
  20. Stop ad go is all about the converter, lots of heat!
