  1. It looks like a molded radiator hose could be fit with some hose clamps
  2. How many wires on the headlight plug? What happens when you turn on the hi beams?
  3. Is it a van or wagon ? If it is the wagon could the noise be coming from the seats? Any pictures?
  4. Was the TC used any where there are toll roads it has the look of a toll transponder . That would account for the sloppy install.
  5. The Lock nut issue ,Not sure but it should be a possibility. When you do get the lock nut off, leave it off! All the people who would steal your wheels already have the socket any way. I don't have the upscale radio so I cannot help you with that. Looks like a great rig.
  6. It has nothing to do with the money or the added value!!
  7. Cool . I have three trailers that I tow with mine. It handles the job very well. As for the heavy clutch I took care of that when I got my 3500 Silverado duel, I made sure it had the Allison. You will enjoy the TC. welcome aboard.
  8. What information can you get on your scan tool?"
  9. You need a good scan tool to check the Modules .
  10. The next question after mrtn's is what year? You will need to scan it. If you put 12 volts to the starter solenoid you can tell if the starter is still good.
  11. I have a 2014 XLT LWB and so far it has been more than up to the job. Is it a lift gate or Barn Doors? Mine has the doors. It has been a very useful ride for me.
  12. Check this conversation in the Lights section https://fordtransitconnectforum.com/topic/6457-turn-off-or-shorten-duration-lights-are-on/?do=findComment&comment=20779
  13. There are two ways to handle this . A temporary fix is to push the turn signal lever toward the Dash this will switch off the lights. It will reset when the doors are closed and then opened. There is a programing fix that has been discussed in another thread. I will check and see if I can dig it up.
  14. They have been pretty reliable for me and now that they have been out long enough the replacements are reasonable . My only gripe is that ford did not think that it was important enough to make the pressure available on my display like Malibu does.
  15. It was My post and mine is an XLT wagon. If you can stand a little pain you can install the part with out pulling the console apart.

Hey at least you have a car!!
  17. You can buy a sensor wake up tool for under $30.00 it won't give information . Using that the relearn procedure it will take 5 minutes to relearn the TC .https://www.tirereview.com/servicing-tpms-ford-chrysler-general-motors/
  18. Great information. What is the performance difference if any? Have you done any trailer towing?
  19. Step one if you own an old car and you have an electrical issue is to get a test light an and volt meter! Another way out is to find a friend with the stuff. There is a good chance if they have the volt meter they know how to use it.
  20. A good battery is a must on today's cars mrtn is correct.
  21. Find a tech with a scan tool or a tpms tool, they can wake them up and tell you if the battery is any good. If the battery is good, and the tc has not been relearned to a new set then the tc will, accept them. If not a relearn will fix it.
  22. You need a different mechanic! I an 100% Sure you can get them
  23. That was very interesting, I guess no one is going to have a drive off for two Transit Connects. No drama!!
  24. We do not have Diesel Connects in the States. If you have a cable throttle then I would check for the cable binding. If the linkage is electric, then you need a scan tool. mrtn is more experienced with the non US Gen 1's
