I remember. A missing divider could be the underlying condition tho.
-
That divider-less cabin looks dangerous. Not allowed over here. All cargo vans need to be equipped with either a solid divider or a metal cage.

How bright is your 3rd brake light?
mrtn replied to AndrewX192's topic in 2002-2013 Ford Transit Connect
Get the original European one for the door. It'll be fine. -
Tire(s) or CV-joint/axle shaft.
-
Axle flip is the most common way to drop the rear. There are no bolt-on upgrade seats for the Connect so anything you like goes with a bit of fabrication. No idea about the rear seats tho.

Gotta love the freedom units. Don't make any sense but still.

2013 Ford Connect - Need more power *****HELP*****
mrtn replied to TAZ's topic in Accessories and Modifications
Which divider is this? Aftermarket plastic? -
The cargo van can be ordered with rear glass doors (at least in Europe).

No, just the error message "SERVICE BELTMINDER" I get occasionally. The dealer does not want to have anything to do with diagnosing it. So whatever diagnostic brings it up during startup needs to be killed. (sorry for thread hijack. nice wheels btw.)
-
Oh damn. I wonder if ForScan allows me to turn off the annoying "SERVICE BELTMINDER" message I get occasionally. Can't check right away as I'm on a Mac.

I guess the 2.5 dipstick is different. 1.6's one is very easy to read even when hot. I too have difficulties reading any of my current and previous Hondas' dipsticks. They're orange and plastic. Oil does not stick well to these, just runs all over.
-
wait until it's cold and drained. You'll get the reading in the first check.
-
Weird. I have zero complaints about the seat. It's not as comfy as the one in the new Berlingo but any drive up to 3 hours is great.

Yes they fit fine if center bore matches. https://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Ford/Transit Connect (2003 - 2013).html Your speedo will read a tiny bit slower than with factory size.

The door needs adjustment. Mine jammed in shut position. Had to yank a bit to get it open. The dealer adjusted it and it's been fine since.

My ‘16 (Ecoboost turbo) cargo van has been great for the most part. The issues I’ver had have been mostly with the LPG conversion I made. It requies more service than I anticipated. Other than that I’m very happy and will probably buy another one in the near future. It’ll be diesel tho as the gasoline/automatic combo is not available in Europe anymore. This is my second cargo van in a row, also had a 2006 TC previously. I have other cars as well, including a nice SUV in the family but whenever I go anywhere I always pick my van (unless I need people carrying capacity).

That's ridiculous. Guys in the UK will do that for a fraction of the price. Try sourcing an engine from there and have it fitted by an independent shop locally.

I have these features in my other cars. I use the adaptive cruise all the time, it's great. However, I always turn off the lane keeping features as it really does fight with you trying to follow the exact lane at all times. Normally you would cut some corners and optimize the line you're driving on.
