Oh yes. Go to a diesel specialist. They know exactly how it's supposed to work and sniff out a problem right away.

Hi pressure pump checked?

Pretty much any make fits as long as the diameter and PCD fits.

The ratios may be off. Even my 2006 came with two different ratios (MT) for different engine configurations and when my original transmission was on its way out I swapped to a 1st Gen Focus transmission with a third variant of the ratio (a really sweet one, made driving fun), bolted right up. The speedo gear was in the transmission.

I don't think Ford did too much modding to Focus drive gear just for the three year run of the Gen1 in US market. I suppose its just dropped in the Connect body.

It's just faulty, I guess, not dual clutch. My 6F35 occasionally pucks since new as does my 8F35 in my other van (although significantly less).

Pressing Phone button should bring you somewhere.

Post a pic?

It does not have to have SYNC® to connect a phone. I have the barebone radio with USB and Bluetooth® for phone/BTA.

It is a regular automatic used in many Ford and GM vehicles. Either the engine/trans mounts are bad or the trans is on its last leg. Or both.

It's very uncomfortable for anyone bigger than a child. Or a very small adult.

Yes, 3-seater in available, much like the TC: 7-seater, no fold-flat tho. It's an economy solution:

I deleted mine when wrapping them.

I read in another article that Ford has done it before, bolted random Focus body panels on the actual body structure of the upcoming model. This here is much longer than a Focus and the front end is also high. It’s a proper test mule, not a ready made car with some confusing stickers.

Yeah, I had a loaner Custom once. It's a separate product line, about the same size as the smallest fullsize transit but probably a bit smaller. Takes some effort to climb in the cab.
-
I doubt the Connect and Custom are identical.

It is weird that the Gen2 is lost on wet grass while my Gen1 was a capable offroader.
