  1. We have had mirror defrosters since the beginning of times over here and there has never been a separate indicator for them, in any car. Mostly it's just the rear window defroster light (as they're always combined) even in cars that don't have rear windows (such as my cargo vans), sometimes the button has two icons - rear window square + mirror but the dahsboard light only has the rear window.
  2. Liability insurance: €11/mo Voluntary full coverage: €35/mo
  3. Damn that's a nice house Other than that, you can order a matching 2DIN fascia plate from Aliexpress and fit which ever head unit you like. The gear ratio is lower due to the van origin, it needs to be driveable fully loaded and/or towing a trailer.
  4. You'll need a good pair of xenon projectors, avoid cheap crap, get proper ones. Depending on your region you might need headlight washers and automatic level adjusters. Switchback DRL/turn signal would also be nice.
  5. The new Caddy is now on the market. Gives you an idea what's to come. Grab your original Ford while the stocks last. BTW: the Caddy ad looks to have been shot in Estonia (most of it in my home town), just like the ad for ID3, they probably fell in love with some places over here and came back. You'll recognize them, very specific. There's a tunnel scene in the beginning of the ID3 ad, it's 6 minutes from my house. The road was closed for 15 minutes when they shot it, I made a couple of spy shots when waiting to pass.
  6. You never know, Japan just got it.
  7. 1) paper dispenser 2) glove/cap rack 3) hi-viz vest (mandatory over here) rack 4) (dashboard) wet wipe rack 5) also houses my "CARGO LOADING" sign and parking clock Useful stuff.
  8. Well, ordered another one. A white LWB, almost fully loaded. The only option missing is keyless go. Or panorama roof which is only available for SWB. New stuff that was not in either previous ones: 230V socket, rear glass hatch, full center console with storage, front/rear A/C, HUD (kills the instrument cluster top storage), built-in 3D navigation, front parking sensors and reverse camera, wireless charging, auto high beam, driver alert system, ACC. Should arrive soon.
  9. Turning the ignition off to ACC position does not lock the steering wheel in any car, AFAIK.
  10. They fit 99% and you will have no issues with any of the concern points. XL is the correct load for this van.

    Door panel removal

Be careful so the sudden jerk (when the door panel pops out of it place) doesn't break the handle cable bits. They're REALLY tiny and fragile. I had to fix mine with handy tools and materials.
  12. Mercon LV turns dark right away. It's normal for that fluid. Also, the coolant is good for 6+ years. Today's longlife coolants are really durable.
  13. Are you addressing me? I have had surface rust fixed under penetrating rust warranty a few times when it's obvious it's a manufacturing defect.
  14. My penetrating rust warranty is still valid, 4 years in. Expires in 6 years. Sometimes you need to show up with surface rust to register it.

    Fuel Gauge

25K miles are normal for the original Continentals. They're also very noisy. I upgraded to Michelin CrossClimates which are very quiet.
  16. Oh, got it. I have the same one as your old one (with USB & BT tho) and when I added crossovers to mine the harness was empty for the most part. There was no extra wiring in the car side, just the minimum necessary for my HU. I know nothing about Sirius but you may need to add an extra antenna wire.
  17. This has been discussed plenty. You can get a Metra dash kit and an aftermarket 2DIN head unit with all necessary connectors from Crutchfield.
  18. Honda has this issue in their 5-speed autos, a bad torque converter.
