  1. The differences between Mk1 are only by carrying capacity. There are loads of different cars with compatible bolt patten: https://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Ford/Transit Connect (2003 - 2013).html
  2. Let the meltdown begin: https://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1725195#p1725203 Right on time.
  3. I'm fairly certain that they do not manufacture different floorpans for different seating configurations and it should be bolt-on. BUT, you also need the underseat console/storage for the middle seat, it's an integrated solution. You would obviously need to remove the standard center console. The 2-seater has a lighter divider, the 3-seater's divider is much sturdier as it has the middle seat belt's upper attachment in the middle.
  4. Heh. Here we go: https://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=92502&start=3870#p1724569
  5. Ordered another one, this time for myself.
  6. I have watched more than dozen Custom videos in past 24h. I was browsing through sales listings looking for a new van and some really nice looking/well equipped Customs popped up but anything I'd like are waaay past €40K and I'm not willing to pay that much for a work van.
  7. https://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=142179 The engine code is on the door post plate.
  8. It’s regular open diff, no preference from the differential side. The transmission is on the left so the drive shaft is also shorter. There’s a theoretical chance of the LF wheel getting more immediate torque but it’s just theoretical.
  9. Yes, these are alloys from the new model. Tyres are a couple of percent bigger than yours but it’s not an issue.
  10. Holy massive bomb carpet of information Batman!
  11. This part is definitely from inside the transmission and it's probably a goner.
  12. perhaps ask in the facebook group, there are over ten thousand UK people there, some may be well versed in shipping stuff.

Not much apart from a remap.
  14. Overstuffing is not an issue. I have a very specific use for it, light but large loads:
  15. Absolutely. I need a much bigger one than my Cargo Connect. 12 ft long and 5'10" tall.
  16. Is this a high-pressure toroidal tank? If yes, you'll need a new one.
  17. You'll need a full replacement 2DIN fascia to acommodate the switch from a regular model.

Michelin CrossClimates are much quieter than OEM Continentals. Sound insulation also helps a lot.
  19. I have been contemplating getting a box trailer so I can take care of all kinds of hauling with one van. I sometimes transport large electronic devices which need to be plastic wrapped when on a flatbed trailer. This has gotten old and takes too much time and is never 100% water tight.
  20. The chicken tax is somewhat understandable to screw foreign manufacturers but in TC case they just screwed their own while creating a shipful of landfill.
  21. Nice to have this freedom. The cargo van has possible tire sizes written on the B-pillar (16” only) and I wouldn’t pass inspection if different. They’re really strict about it over here.
  22. A van + trailer has much more function than a truck unless you need 4x4.
