  1. wait until it's cold and drained. You'll get the reading in the first check.
  2. Weird. I have zero complaints about the seat. It's not as comfy as the one in the new Berlingo but any drive up to 3 hours is great.
  3. Yes they fit fine if center bore matches. https://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Ford/Transit Connect (2003 - 2013).html Your speedo will read a tiny bit slower than with factory size.
  4. The door needs adjustment. Mine jammed in shut position. Had to yank a bit to get it open. The dealer adjusted it and it's been fine since.
  5. My ‘16 (Ecoboost turbo) cargo van has been great for the most part. The issues I’ver had have been mostly with the LPG conversion I made. It requies more service than I anticipated. Other than that I’m very happy and will probably buy another one in the near future. It’ll be diesel tho as the gasoline/automatic combo is not available in Europe anymore. This is my second cargo van in a row, also had a 2006 TC previously. I have other cars as well, including a nice SUV in the family but whenever I go anywhere I always pick my van (unless I need people carrying capacity).
  6. Join the facebook group, there are several people well experienced in the issue.
  7. That's ridiculous. Guys in the UK will do that for a fraction of the price. Try sourcing an engine from there and have it fitted by an independent shop locally.
  8. I have these features in my other cars. I use the adaptive cruise all the time, it's great. However, I always turn off the lane keeping features as it really does fight with you trying to follow the exact lane at all times. Normally you would cut some corners and optimize the line you're driving on.
  9. Mine also has it behind the grille of the left tear storage compartment.
  10. Have you asked in the facebook group?
  11. It will affect your warranty and probably rises your Nox emissions but it'll be fun.
  12. There's no stalk. Instead there's a tilt button between the left side steering wheel spokes.
  13. Could be anything in the front axle. Steering rack, tie rod ends and wheel bearings are known to be the weak parts.
  14. I've seen diesel engine swaps reported done in a day.
  15. I'm in Europe. We have a different octane determination method (RON). North America uses MON, which is 8-12 numbers lower for the same fuel. My flap list includes all acceptable grades.
  16. Owww. I stand corrected. It would have been funnier if I had ordered one from the US and discovered the missing turbocharger at home.
  17. 1.6 Ecoboost does not require premium. Regular is fine. 95 octane (RON) is the lowest grade you can get over here.
  18. They do offer it in the US: https://www.ford.com/trucks/transit-connect-passenger-van-wagon/compare-models/ We only get 1.0 Ecoboost and 1.5 turbodiesel nowadays.
  19. Congrats on the anniversary. We do have more choice but most of it is diesel. I want the 2.0 Ecoboost so much ?
  20. To make things even more confusing there are also subcompact van Transit Courier and passenger van Tourneo Courier.
  21. Almost. Two adults and one small kid is comfortable longitudinally. If one of the kids agrees to sleep across then it's probably okay. The actual usable length without converting anything is about 7 ft. 10 ft is against the dashboard.
