Twist and then pull, it is a friction fit. And I have already showed you how I jack My TC up!

I am running 215/60/16 on my TC and the ride is better the handling and shifting performance is the same and the Speedometer error is 2 mph . I consider it a very nice improvement on the TC

Fifty 150 You are lucky . I wish mine had your switch instead of the electronic switch in the Information center.

Here is the post I did on the Transmission Change. The hardest part of this operation will be getting the TC Jacked up. Should be almost level . Remove the Under body dust shield . Look for the Drain Plug. 11 mm or 7/16 wrench. ] This style funnel will slide down into the Vent plug you just removed Put 3 quarts of fluid in [attacjpg] ] Run the TC for 5 to 10 minutes . Then drain the fluid again. Repeat this 2 more times You have Now used 9 quarts of fluid. Put the Drain plug back in make it snug this time. Add 3 quarts of fluid You have now used 12 quarts. Go under the car and Look for the indicator plug (14 mm wrench) Loosen the plug. Do not remove yet Start the engine with the engine running and the Car in park pull the plug and add fluid into the funnel until it just drips out the Indicator hole Replace plug put the Dust shield on , Pull the funnel and replace the vent cap. Total Fluid 13 Qts. With most of number 13 left There is no filter to change on this operation and the type of fluid is Mercon LV. Have fun! I have changed the fluid 3 times at 25000 Mile intervals and the fluid in this trans works hard.

The algorithm the traction control uses makes knowing how to turn it off a necessity . I am not sure what was done to disable it. If you drive in snowy conditions find a parking lot and see what the traction control does and the procedure for switching it off. It works much better in rainy conditions. I wish the Gen 2 had a visible button on the dash to switch it off.

How do I remove the console-mounted window switch?

Fifty 150 don't waste your money, This is a much better source , good diagrams and you can print the page you need to take under the dash with you. https://www.factory-manuals.com/ford-transit/-connect&28&164 -
Hey welcome aboard. My mates son lives in Bullhead City . Have been there on several trips, the last time November -December last year. . A very interesting part of the country.

If the van stalls check the IAC[ idle air control] If that is not functioning it could cause a stall and a low idle. -
78042 miles 10+ oil changes , the sealing washer is a good fit in the plug and pan. Be careful do not overtighten, you will be ok.
-
Had mine out at 50000 Plus miles . The main reason was to Never seize the thread. They were is good condition, will replace at about 80000. They are taper seat , 1/16 of a turn after tight will be good.

best way to get a side window for sliding door?
G B L replied to kyle4679's topic in Accessories and Modifications
The toureno connect is the combi version and the door should fit. I am not sure that the commercial harness will have the window wiring, but is could . Take a measure of the height and width and check the other door I bet they are the save. Keep us posted ! -
The better the scanner the more vehicle specific codes you will get but the terms that your scanner reads are generic and the same between car brands. Here is a place to start https://www.youtube.com/embed/tdmLiyklZMw?rel=0&autoplay=1

Most of the newer cars have rubber cushions on the bottom The Radiator is held in from the top. The Two Hose connections and possibility of Transmission cooler lines. Looks pretty straight forward

Is yours a US Tc or Eu Tc? Standard or Automatic?
-
Do you have any more info on when the tc feels lacking. Is it the take off if you stop on a hill?
-
Does your scanner have live data? I would do an exhaust back pressure test also, that would tell you a lot. The Cleaners in a can will clear some running issues they will not help with mechanical Problems.

If I found a door from a wagon in good shape I would swap the whole door. If I had time on my hands I would work to finding a way to power up the window in the replacement door. -

Another alternative is to find a gen 1 wagon that is out of service and get the side door, it will have the glass. -
That is way cool! Not a fan of the touchscreen. interested to see the size of the charger. If you are looking for a station wagon, check out the Flex it looks old school and it is AWD. My Tc has been the right size and has enough doors.
-
It is good you have the ramps. The servicing of the TC is not overly complicated for a new age car. A Good Scanner and the Service manual are a must for any thing deeper than oil changes tires or brakes.

The Car business is not easy, but somethings are just part of game . I think a way to tell the Automatic transmission oil level is part of the game. You are either in the game or not in the game!
