I don't really listen to music anymore, after discovering podcasts nearly a decade ago. So much to learn and so little time left.

Don't have the suitable car (or could afford one) for that :D But thanks, it's a nice thought.

I wasn't around during 8-track era but I also have fond memories of Skinny Puppy "blaring" from the Philips cassette tape with windows rolled down. The sound quality was complete crap tho. Didn't know it at the time.

That's a great design kit for a rather bland Citroen Jumper mid-size van: http://www.fubiz.net/2017/05/23/iconic-citroen-type-h-revisited/ Also includes a Porsche mid engine and mahogany flooring in the future H.

Right. I had my 2006 TC for 10 years and most of the undercarriage was relatively rust free (I live in the rust belt). The only problematic places were sills which developed penetrating rust 8 years in, you can protect those yourself with off the shelf products. If I were to buy another one I would drill holes and soak the cavities in body protection wax once a year and be done with it.

You have more than surface rust there?

The low voltage error is putting me off but diesel TC rattles the contacts off of the plug sockets in the dash cluster. I had mine fixed once.

They don't specify it with the introduction of maintenance minders.. I don't have one in the menu, so mine's set to 20,000 km (12,500 miles) or once a year. I change at 15,000 km (9600 miles). The engines are still the same and the oils are still the same. Only extreme usage or climate conditions affect the oil change intervals to extremes. The new full size Transits have 50,000 km (31,250 miles) service schedule over here. Absurd.

You mean the sound of any JDM gathering? -
It's way too relaxed for a regular troll to join and "participate". We haven't had any need for strong moderation for ages.

Alloy Wheels for Ford Transit Connect
mrtn replied to Loafer's topic in Accessories and Modifications
You can get any quality wheels. OEM wheels are perfectly good (image from facebook group): -
There are not many B-category parts available for the new shape yet. I would contact Paul Leepu Hayes in facebook who does a lot of body mods for Connects, he can probably lead you to mechanical parts as well.,
-
Not many around here either. Škoda Roomster and Praktik have pretty much grabbed the whole segment for themselves.

Locking nuts are a must.

It's discussed here before. Search.

Best Transit Connect Fire Extinguisher
mrtn replied to Loafer's topic in Accessories and Modifications
Over here you need two for a commercial van. Don't know the weight but it's about the size of a 2 litre coke bottle.- 6 replies

Your preference- Pre 2014 or new body style? And a question...
mrtn replied to Campcrazy's topic in Lounge Transit Connect
True, I'm 6'4" and quite far below the headliner.
