  1. I've been changing my pollen filters all these years for no reason!
  2. Which air filter do you mean, pollen filter for the vent? There should be one. Also, speakers are easy to replace with better ones. What's weird is that the older model had excellent headlights.
  3. The battery location is quite inelegant.
  4. https://qz.com/1006112/how-the-volkswagen-van-became-iconic/
  5. A sliding load floor option. Better headlights.
  6. The load rating is sometimes given as XL instead of numbers (Extra load), these will also work.
  7. I'm sure it drives fine. I have an Avensis Wagon '09 which is an excellent highway car. I drove 1400 miles non-stop to Germany last year and didn't even feel tired. I would love to get the CH-R but it's not really a family vehicle.
  8. The smallest one would be the first generation low-roof SWB, which was never imported to USA:
  9. What type of fridge are you talking about? Mine's just a square bucket with a cooling fan on top. It can keep sandwiches fresh but not cool a six pack of beers down.
  10. I don't really listen to music anymore, after discovering podcasts nearly a decade ago. So much to learn and so little time left.
  11. Don't have the suitable car (or could afford one) for that :D But thanks, it's a nice thought.
  12. I wasn't around during 8-track era but I also have fond memories of Skinny Puppy "blaring" from the Philips cassette tape with windows rolled down. The sound quality was complete crap tho. Didn't know it at the time.
  13. That's a great design kit for a rather bland Citroen Jumper mid-size van: http://www.fubiz.net/2017/05/23/iconic-citroen-type-h-revisited/ Also includes a Porsche mid engine and mahogany flooring in the future H.
  14. Right. I had my 2006 TC for 10 years and most of the undercarriage was relatively rust free (I live in the rust belt). The only problematic places were sills which developed penetrating rust 8 years in, you can protect those yourself with off the shelf products. If I were to buy another one I would drill holes and soak the cavities in body protection wax once a year and be done with it.
  15. The low voltage error is putting me off but diesel TC rattles the contacts off of the plug sockets in the dash cluster. I had mine fixed once.

    Oil

They don't specify it with the introduction of maintenance minders.. I don't have one in the menu, so mine's set to 20,000 km (12,500 miles) or once a year. I change at 15,000 km (9600 miles). The engines are still the same and the oils are still the same. Only extreme usage or climate conditions affect the oil change intervals to extremes. The new full size Transits have 50,000 km (31,250 miles) service schedule over here. Absurd.
  17. Push the high beam stalk, they turn off. I asked the dealer to turn the whole feature off. They said it can't be done as it's a safety feature.

It's way too relaxed for a regular troll to join and "participate". We haven't had any need for strong moderation for ages.
  19. Looks like my IKEA furniture :D
  20. You can get any quality wheels. OEM wheels are perfectly good (image from facebook group):
