There are not many B-category parts available for the new shape yet. I would contact Paul Leepu Hayes in facebook who does a lot of body mods for Connects, he can probably lead you to mechanical parts as well.,

Not many around here either. Škoda Roomster and Praktik have pretty much grabbed the whole segment for themselves.

Locking nuts are a must.

It's discussed here before. Search.

Best Transit Connect Fire Extinguisher
mrtn replied to Loafer's topic in Accessories and Modifications
Over here you need two for a commercial van. Don't know the weight but it's about the size of a 2 litre coke bottle.- 6 replies

I know how you feel: great.

Your preference- Pre 2014 or new body style? And a question...
mrtn replied to Campcrazy's topic in Lounge Transit Connect
True, I'm 6'4" and quite far below the headliner. -
The small W5W type bulb is an European parking marker (permanently on together with other lights), just like the 5 watt amber wire in your turn signal which blinks at 21W. They didn't want to redesign the cluster for US version, I guess.

Aerobar is of an old design, wingbar is the newest. Also, square bars hum at speed.

You would also need cowboy boots for the issue to come in effect. Actually the roof height is an issue for cargo models, The old one was exactly the right height for loading stuff in it, walking inside the boot etc. I need to squat in my new one. -
Changed pollen filter? Floor dry? Outside air selector working?

No idea about the sync issue (mine's the base model radio with USB and Bluetooth). You mean your low beam stays on at full power on DRL? Weird, mine's running high beams at half the power. You'll get used to the wires in the windshield. I've had this feature since my '96 Escort, then 2006 TC and now 2012 and 2016 ones.

Thanks. Will be in a week I hope. it's been dancing around freezing temps (with occasional snow) for a month now. EDIT: it snowed in the morning and it's now changed into a full on rainstorm. Just got back from tieing suff down. EDIT2: aaaand it's snowing again. EDIT3: aaaand the studded tire use permission has been extended by one week (until 7th of may, normally due April 30th).

Nice and classic looking, a bit like blender blades. I've just installed my new ones yesterday.

Agree completely. A booster pack is a must for a camper. Every time someone needs a jump start at the camp site, I've been the receiving end myself.
-
It's not specifically a European thing. All my Connects have 12V sockets on at all times but my European built Toyotas and Hondas do not.
-
I don't have any besides factory steelies. Funnily enough I have just ordered 16" (can't be bothered with rough ride) Dezent TX graphite for summer tires. Factory PCD.

M-sport Connect has 18" and these look at the limit already: http://www.m-sport.co.uk/m-sport-news/dovenby-hall/revealing-the-m-sport-ford-connect Don't change the offset as it would ruin your wheel bearings prematurely (relatively speaking). Any wheel with a matching bolt pattern and center bore will do: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/ford/transit-connect/2017/

Seen cheap or free rear seats offered several times. In this forum as well.

Styling my connect with earlier front

Heh, this has been a popular topic in Facebook :D -
The other problem was people driving an SUV with the stability of a phone booth and 70-profile tires past 70 mph. I leased the Explorer briefly in the 90's, it was nothing to write home about. My full size '93 transit was better on the highway.
