I wonder for how long did I drive with this nail in the tire: Ford Assistance should arrive soon. -

I heard of a Navigator with a nice set of wheels over here, the owner wanted to secure the wheels so bad he used different security nuts, just security nuts no normal ones at all. One morning the Navigator was on bricks with one brick on the driver's seat with a note "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN".

No reason for premature oil change.

I get it and feel exactly the same every time I need to remove the wheels but when you're über religious about the whereabouts of the key at all times you won't have these negative experiences. I keep it next to the jack and put it right there every time I'm done with it. Then again, if my insurance didn't require it I'd probably pass too.

The main reason for the wheel locks (or nuts) jamming is corrosion. There's no chance of jamming if you rotate annually or swap winter tires seasonally. Apply grease to studs and nuts every time before reattaching and you're all good. WD-40 is no good, use actual grease. Our insurance companies require wheel locks for 17" and larger alloy wheels. I've used locks for ages with no problems except losing the key once but the tire shop found a matching key right in the first try.

I would mill off the cap, drill holes in the 12/3/6/9 o'clock, fabricate a key from a standard socket and bäng, off it comes.

French press is probably the best way to enjoy different tastes and aromas. And it's almost free and fully independent.

I read totally wrong. You mean THIS LED? It's an immobilizer indicator. Should flash when active and be off when the key is registered. -
Audio upgrades to 2016 Ford Transit Connect wagon XLT

There are several threads on the issue, feel free to browse. -
Just did my first oil change today (9600 miles), they put Castrol Magnatec GTX in: http://www.castrol.com/en_us/united-states/motor-oil/full-synthetic-motor-oil/gtx-magnatec-motor-oil.html Haven't done any underbody protection after the early nineties. However, will do for my 20+ year old Corolla in spring (full sandblast + spray zinc + truck frame paint + rock chip protector).

2015 TC XLT. Kinda A Tent On Wheels...

Yup, my neck's still a bit stiff too but couldn't stop watching. -
Very similar taste in cars, I see. I love every one of those. Sadly, none are available over here except for US import and that adds significant costs.
-
Naturally. Does your wife subscribe to that? I'm yet to test sleeping in the new TC. It's long enough for that but there's a long winter ahead. Back in the bachelor days I had everything in the car at all times, including the cork screw, never knew where I'd end up for the night.

What kind of a sad tech says an oil leak "is nothing"? Checked the valve cover seal?

red warning light
mrtn replied to Big Bank's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs & Remote Start
The round red led is a notification light to check the gauges or messages on the LCD. There may be a message or a condition you need to address. -

There are lots of CNG vehices as well. I see factory CNG labels on many VW and Opels. Here's comparison CNG vs LPG. -

About the same. -
Clean the door contacts. It does that when it senses a door ajar.

I forgot to write that these are liter prices, multiply by 3.8 to get gallon price. LPG is actually a cheap product to manufacture as it's a byproduct of gasoline and diesel fuel.
