  1. I think the biggest change in the cars , is that the driving , hauling people around and carrying stuff part has gone way down on the list of what is important
  2. Thanks for making me much happier with my Choice. It is usually the small things that make car ownership good or bad . Thanks for the Information. How does it drive? Have you driven a TC yet? If so how do they compare.
  3. The whole car is run on the canbus You. should not need resistors as there is no flashers involved. The LED's need resistors to signal the flasher. If the led works in the dome light it will work in the fog light.
  4. What's up with the Pro Master City to make you want to trade so fast?
  5. The minor angle will not mater. The tow dolly just wants the car not changing its position relative to the tow dolly.
  6. You could do a search for a 2017 Ford Transit Connect Wagon LWB Titanium w/ Rear Liftgate in RACER RED and see if there are any in the country and where. The line ticket will tell you what they have . The roof rack and the Sync 3 will be the toughest . The TC tow's very well so adding a hitch is easy. Good luck keep us posted on your search
  7. The Bigger the better. Make sure the wire is fused on both ends so it can't become a very High amp short to ground.
  8. The final drive ratio in the 2012 tc is 3.96 and the overdrive is .73, the 205 \65\ 15 tires do 791revolutions per mile so 70 mph would be about 2700. If you push the overdrive lock out you you would get 3600 plus. Sounds like the rpms are close to normal.
  9. That's some good news Waiting for the story's finish.
  10. How was it running before the belt was replaced? How is the belt tension set on the engine
  11. If it was a real standard you would not have an indicator on the display. You would know what gear by the road speed and the Rpm's.
  12. The wheel bearings on the Gen 2 are the same part number as the Gen 1 . The major cause of bearing failure is water intrusion. Time will tell how they hold up. The transmission is different. With proper care should give good service. I am sure other stuff will break !
  13. Its the rear defroster, the window regulators , seat heaters AC . These are the things that bug people to trade their cars. The drive shaft usually does not fail it is the U-Joint and then the shaft falls out on the road
  14. Here is the picture of the 2013 Fiesta Hatch back kit . It looks like the same plugs
  15. 2013 Ford Fiesta Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector (hatch Back ) Seems to have the same plugs as your TC. Get the people at E-Trailer Takes some good pictures of the plugs so you can compare. Keep us posted
  16. Which side of the TC is that connector on? Is the one on the other side the same?

    What goes here?

I see you found the on off and I Agree we all should have the switch and it should be one button on the wheel. It would be nice to see if the Starters for the On off system are more robust.
  18. Good oil, Changed at some regular period will allow the car to reach the useful end of its service life. If the only thing worn out was the engine then more people would replace the engine. It is all the other stuff that stops working that makes the average owner get a new car. If you get the TBN test every time you pay for an additional oil change every third oil change.
  19. Here's the post I did on the fluid change it should make every thing very Clear
  20. The environmental cost of a vehicle has much more importance in the EU and UK. This would carry through to the maintenance routine.
  21. There is no official fix and my leak is just a weep so I check the fluid regularly . My TC Runs and shifts very nicely so I am not messing with it.
  22. i changed mine at 25000 and it needed it . The oil in this Transmission it worked hard.
  23. The harness's are different because the feed point on the barn doors is from both sides for the wipers and the window heater and the hatchback has the feed on the roof. Two different harness's the opportunity for different connectors or wiring lay out. Do you have a picture of the Hatch back connector's so we could see the difference.
