  1. Nice. make sure to fix the name, it's Transit Connect, not Transit.
  2. The Butt-o-Meter says yes, the shift points are a bit higher than normal. Also the decreased torque is affecting the shift feeling.
  3. PPK possibly, nothing larger. Then again, the compartment is too far to react quick enough and requires one hand to hold it open and the other to grab the gun, You might want the holster in the door pocket.
  4. My shifts are irregular. Some are silky smooth, some are slow, some a a bit jerky. Feels like a programming issue. For example my friend's ex 2005 CLS never shifted wrong. Not one shift felt off regardless the situation.
  5. Mine's in the middle of the head unit but it's not Sync.
  6. I stand corrected: Mk1 coat hook was integrated to the seatbelt mount. Not in the new one.
  7. Or bad contact. The doors don't work if the switch is not connected.
  8. It's a FAQ: no direct fit, some fabrication needed.
  9. Check the headlight switch first. Probably nothing wrong with the door. Plenty of cheap parts in scrappers.
  10. Remove the headlight switch and check the connections. The window switch lighting is connected to this. There's no bulb in the switch, I think it's a LED.
  11. Not sure if it helps but my 2006 had frequent central locking problems. The module was degrading. The guy who was working on it said the output signal was irregular and did not engage the locks.
  12. Makes sense, I got a quote of €480/€560 (no charger/with charger).
  13. The foldable seat is a thinner and harder bench so I doubt the half leather seats were equipped with the mechanism.
  14. The most obvious modification is drop. Front drop varies but to drop the rear there's only the axle flip.
  15. What else was on the menu?
  16. I've had electric block heaters in my previous gasoline cars. One thing I've noticed: the coolant does not get any warmer after the first thirty minutes.
  17. What kind of block heaters they install in Canada? Pretty much all TC here have diesel fuel based Webasto or Eberspächer coolant heater standard, independent, programmable and/or remote controllable.
  18. Helped others many times, then again, the recovery hook is standard in Europe, some cars have it welded to the front subframe, especially older ones. Needed help myself once but I used the tow hook to back me out of the mud:
  19. Note that it's the same hook as in Escape/Kuga.
