The part number is somewhere on the box case, probably a visible spot. The old shape engine bay is quite open with no unnecessary cladding/tubing.

Why don’t they include the OEM piece (which is superior every way) with US vans? I get it that they needed to circumvent chicken tax with the old shape but this shouldn’t be the case anymore or is it still?

This is probably the first time in history this question has been asked. -
Looks a lot like a new shape connect. 2014 onwards.

Gen 1 is H4 afaik. -
Well, the S-MAX and Galaxy exist in Europe (both with 2.0 Ecoboost) but these are more like Executive minivans with regular rear doors, no sliders. I like S-MAX a lot but find no use for it.

you’ll probably be able to determine the final drive ratio from the box part number.

I don't know the reason for the color change but it's been explained by experts so that people are not worried about their trans acting up.

You don’t need to shift the transmission to neutral at lights, it’s actually better for the transmission not to. The only possible scenario this is needed is when you have braked HARD and must not keep the brake pedal depressed to prevent disc warping.

Mercon LV changes color with the first drive, it’s the feature of it.

You can always run a wire from the overhead light.

You can always have any tractor you like (or can afford). This looks awesome tho: They're functional, if you don't shower.

Oh, that’s great. This should also work on the tackiness of the front vinyl carpet then.

hmm, mine is not fixed by anything really.

They reflashed my instrument cluster hoping to repair the occasional "Service beltminder" issue and I now have two trip computers instead of one. I hoped it would also get a permanent temperature display on the top row like I have seen in other machines but no. Nothing else changed.

Paul Leepu Hayes in facebook is probably your best bet. Can’t recall the website URL.

Always have. There’s this point of no return with desireable cars - they’ll just come with a tow truck and take it no matter what technology you’ve protected it with. I do have a steering wheel lock on my old Toyota, but that’s because it’s a period piece with matching accessories.

Whoa, didn’t know this was used after the nineties.

1.6 Ecoboost van, 90% ready to pull the trigger
mrtn replied to mrtn's topic in Buying, Leasing, Ordering & Owner Impressions
Yes, it’s the same shape as the spare tire and you are correct, this is the worst place to have any electronics located. I would not install LPG if I had to do it again on this particular vehicle as the fuel saving is not that noticeable. Perhaps 30% on the highway and 40% in the city. Good to know they’ll replace the trans fluid. About time. -
Yup, it has more immediate torque available. I didn’t want to push it too hard as it only had 3K on the odometer but yes. I don’t know it it was the old type 2.2 litre diesel or the new 2.0 one.
