Given my absurd radio/bluetooth issues caused by a bad (from the purchase date) battery, I would try another.

1.6 Ecoboost van, 90% ready to pull the trigger
mrtn replied to mrtn's topic in Buying, Leasing, Ordering & Owner Impressions
The high pressure pump seems to be a weak link in the 1.6 Ecoboost based on what I've read in various pages when researching the issue. Anyway, started a minor audio upgrade just for the fun of it. Had a pair of leftover tweeters from my late Taurus. The A-pillar panel's tweeter holes needed to be enlarged by 3 mm to fit the Taurus tweeters. I also have a pair of very old crossovers (20 years old if not more) I'll utilize here. -

True. There's only LWB/high-top body Gen1 in the US. -
Haha, it didn't go fast enough to be dangerous.

My second car was '89 Escort with a carburetted pushrod engine. It got constant 40 mpg in town.

Yup, the rear fogs are meant for serious fog where the rear lights do not penetrate it for a safe gap. -
UK mirrors for US Transit Connect

They’re everywhere. Just opened one of our local spare part suppliers page, they seem to have one in stock but it’s possible to order I guess. I can find some more later today: https://alvadi.ee/en/spare-parts/ford/transit-connect-tourneo-c170-2006/door-mirror/ -
We know less about Transits and more about Transit Connects here.

Note that organizations of religious practices are tax free. Every dime goes directly to Jesus or similar, past the tax man. Amazing.

It appears the dealer has switched me to 5W-20 a while ago and it seems to be the recommended weight over here :

My visors are still good.

The post was deleted. But it was a public one not requiring a fb account. Anyway, it was by a graphic designer-turned-comedy writer who encounters "t0asters" on a regular basis. Read up, it's all hilarious: http://www.27bslash6.com/

Average life of factory battery?
mrtn replied to ArtCFartC's topic in 2002-2013 Ford Transit Connect
I have had a couple of OEM batteries last 9 years (Toyota and Honda). -
No way, dedicated severe snow service tires are mandatory over here from 1st of Dec to 31st of March.

Yup, I've now switched to 5W-30 at 50K.

Our temps drop to -30F for a couple of weeks usually in Jan-Feb. I have not noticed any behavioral difference by the transmission.

I wonder if you have Packline available over there. They have the sleekest looking ones in all sizes:

As long as it's not used for taxi, no difference over here.
