  1. I know they had moved to FWD vans over here for larger cargo space due to lower floor by leaving out the frame construction necessary for RWD.
  2. What do you mean by that? It’s pretty basic.
  3. Heh, it’s not that bad, I was just making it about me ?
  4. Many weird electrical issues on the first gen Connects are caused by bad earth. Check the ones between the battery, body and transmission. There are two.
  5. Will probably rub but looks doable: https://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Ford/Transit Connect (2013 - ).html
  6. The technical term for this part is "energy chain".
  7. Wait, what. The fog light section has no reflector? Either way, great stuff. Love engineering.
  8. Here's a how-to change procedure by the same tech:
  9. Don't worry about the color as long as it doesn't smell burnt. Mercon LV turns black very quickly.
  10. I had a delay due to low fluid level when the half shaft seal failed.
  11. Here's my review of it ?
  12. It does exist but in Europe at the moment:
  13. White is the easiest on the A/C.
  14. In the era of the internet pretty much everything is available everywhere. Minus RWL stuff. Getting less and less available.
  15. Let me check tomorrow what we have on our Berlingo. Same size, extremely quiet.
  16. It's the standard 21W bulb but the reflector and lens create a more tightly focused beam straight backwards.
  17. The facelift diesels (2018+) have Peugeot/Citroën 1.5 liter BlueHDI engine mated to an Aisin-made 8-speed (EAT8) planetary automatic.
  18. Yeah, but you should only use them in thick fog not for fun. They are brighter than brake lights and blind the tailing driver easily.
  19. It's easy to check. The Gen1 light switch can be pulled out by 3 mm and the light comes on. Also there's a notification light on the dash (the fog light with a horizontal beam like the bottom button on the Gen2 switch).
  20. The new M-Sport rally car is ready:
  21. Rear fog lights. Mandatory in Europe. Activate by pulling the light switch when main lights are on.
  22. Here's a gear idea for such event:
  23. Oh, I can do the swot anaysis right here: Good: fuel economy cabin space extremely comfy seats lots of storage slots (including the TC like slot on top of the instrument cluster), extra storage compartment on top of the dash with cooling 8" screen with mirroring (Android Auto/Apple Carplay) very good audio system for the price range visibility, large windows and mirrors comfortable and quiet ride, no noticeable road or wind noise Bad: the hatch is way too big, just ridiculous, you have to opt for the opening hatch window for tight spots materials show its van traits all electronic nannies and Auto Start-Stop are on by default, nagging on driving too close to someone and tells you to take a break with a coffee cup pictogram and a loud chime dumb rotary shifter, lousy egonomics compared to a stick PRNDL shifter no QuickClear, just left and bottom edge of the screen heated the front armrests should be a bit wider half-assed steering wheel controls of the audio system and Bluetooth phone, sometimes no effect on call accept and hang-up electronic parking brake comes on automatically, cannot be disabled weird cruise control stalk and operation no height adjustable seat belt upper mount
  24. My TC remains (one year of payments left) as this would be going to another colleague to replace the 2012 5-seater he's driving now. The door size is irrelevant as I don't use it for loading pallets.
