Funny you should ask. I was informed later on by the dealer that the Berlingo they had offered me with barn doors actually didn't have them. Only available in the lowest trim level for LWB which was not an option for us. After consulting with my colleague actually driving this van we gave the liftgate a green light. So, dark gray metallic LWB coming up late August.

Check for play in rear wheel bearings.

I’m planning to add a glove box LED light (missing in my trim level), so I‘ll probably do the footwell lighting together with the glovebox. I actually did the glovebox lighting for my hobby car and swapped back the whole glove box when I sold it. So now I have the bits, including a magnetic switch. Thanks for the writeup, saves a few hours of investigations.

Many weird electrical issues on the first gen Connects are caused by bad earth. Check the ones between the battery, body and transmission. There are two.
