  2. No, just the error message "SERVICE BELTMINDER" I get occasionally. The dealer does not want to have anything to do with diagnosing it. So whatever diagnostic brings it up during startup needs to be killed. (sorry for thread hijack. nice wheels btw.)

  4. I've run into this same problem with my 2020 TC cargo. I wanted to tap into the fuse box to power a "keyed" fuse for the addition of some led running lights. That fuse box terrifies me. I'm going to see if I can tap into some wiring outside of that box. UGH!

    If you can test the rack, do so. Not exactly cheap to buy new - Use it or sell it. There's a few different brands out there, so best bet would be to find a mfg sticker and do some digging for how to wire up the controller if that came with the unit - maybe some little black box you've been scratching your head over? That said, most of the power units are just added on to the basic unit, so the rack should work fine without the controller.

    Go with the class 3. You don't want a class 2, only to have to buy all new accessories, since you already have what you need for a 2" receiver.

I did it two years ago and probably dont still have the pictures but the biggest mistake that I made was the swivel that I bought was from a generic boat application and did not have a hole through the middle of the bolt so that I could run wires through it because this is the only reasonable way to avoid getting the airbag system wires cut when turning(wires for the seat occupancy sensor and buckle). I had to then make a new center pin on a lathe and weld the two pieces together. After that it was pretty easy the steps were; 1, Take the seat out 2, Temporarily weld the legs together so that the distances didnt change in the next step and so that it would all fit back to the van 3, Cut the legs off where I wanted the spinner to be 4, decide where to put the fulcrum of the spinner so that everything wold work then weld it back together with the swivel in place. It took a good weekend of work and $600 would probably be a pretty good price for someone to do that much custom work. The seat sliding rail has a sensor for when the seat is in the full forward position to deactivate the airbag, I thought about using this to deactivate the airbag if the seat is not facing forward but I never implemented this because I never really had time, but its an option. If you dont have a good way to reset the airbag light dont forget to disconnect the battery before you remove the seat.

  9. Went around and around about putting the passenger OEM armrest into my cargo--about $500 total from cheap parts sites--until I decided to go to the dealer and try one. At 5' 8", with my arm on the rest, I couldn't reach the steering wheel by about 6 inches. Way to go, Ford design team! So, from another old post here or somewhere, I found this https://www.armster.co.uk/shop/ford-connect-2014-with-usb-aux-armster-s-armrest/?v=b66f7c678aa7 Lots of back and forth emails and pictures to verify that the text, saying 2014-2018, also covers 2019, which it does, it's just an outdated website. There is a righthand drive armrest, so be careful. Also, it bricks the crummy cubbyhole below, and appears to brick a cup holder or maybe two, but I don't care versus having a good armrest. It tilts back for drinking anyway. $130 with a bunch of freight. The RH is priced at $99 pounds; the left at $69 pounds (website error?) and takes a bit longer because obviously Britain doesn't need many of those. For current driver armrest removal, an old thread, verified by the work manual at the dealer yesterday, said, while sitting in the passenger seat, put the driver arm at 60 degrees and pull. Only the service desk guy couldn't do it, nor could I. Will take it back to their mechanic ...

  10. I was under the impression that computer updates were proprietary, and only available at dealerships. That's why we don't see every corner mechanic offering computer reflash. I don't think it's as simple as downloading a tune file online, then uploading it yourself.
