  1. The third row seats are different from the Second row seats and are not just a bolt in transfer
  2. Good to know, wonder why it took so much time to get offered here. There does not seem to be any good set of rules as to how options become available to different regions.
  3. Cool good to here, As Mrtn points out it is under the hood under the cowl Plastic
  4. You could be right, I think both the Glass people and Ford Motor, Go with the best price. If your windshield makers Can do it at the right price they would do it. That being said the people here would squeeze us as hard as they could.
  5. $256.00 US, not bad! The Safelite Quote for a gen 1 is $324.00 for a regular glass, no QuickClear for the gen 1. The Safelite Auto glass over the internet Quote is 618.95, for the Gen 2 Quickclear. Both prices include Install. They must be sending it from Estonia!!
  6. Did you have to pull it a part again?
  7. The list of standard features on the XLT wagon is pretty long and includes the camera, but not the backup sensors. The quick clear windshield would have been nice but My TC was on the lot and the die was cast. Here is the window sticker from a 2015 XL wagon and the window sticker from a 2016 XLT. This shows the standard Equipment. windowsticker 2.pdf windowsticker.pdf
  8. I think even with the proper weight rating the side wall height reduction would make the ride hard and very susceptible to road damage on the kind of roads where I operate. The cool look has to take a back seat to the service requirements in my case.
  9. We can't get the Sikaflex windshield adhesive here but I am sure it is good if it holds windshields in.
  10. I was not faulting your Job at all. I think that the 3M product is the most important thing in this whole discussion, Even though our approach to the situation was different Our choice of the same proper adhesive was the critical thing in this situation.
  11. Don. The 3M- 847 has been part of my tool box for Many years and It was used on the Rubber Trim on the TC with in the first month I had the car. I must say that the Job you did was terrific and showed tremendous thought and preparation . The pictures were great. I squeezed some adhesive in the groove put the gasket on and closed the door. My level of commitment to the project was no where near as great as yours. It has been over a Year and the glue has worked.
  12. The Speed resistor is burned out , leaving only high speed, You should be able to get one at a NAPA . Should be on the blower housing near the blower motor Motor craft Part Number Part Number: W0133-1810832 Hey how's the Motor running
  13. If nothing has changed or been rewired It sounds like the head light grounds could also be marginal causing a voltage drop as the amp load increases . So check the relay and the grounds
  14. Two different Trucks for two Different Purposes. The Production Vehicles are probably heavier than the test vehicles and the real TC's spend more time at Burger King that expected . As for the Flex fuel. The major differences are more rust free parts to deal with the Alcohol and possibly larger injectors , A sensor that tells the computer the percentage of alcohol in the fuel to signal the emissions program . E-85 has less heat per gallon Edmund's did a test and the result was a 26% Reduction in mileage . There have to be some other compelling reason to switch to E-85. Plus the environmental improvement is marginal at best
  15. My issue of no rear heat to the right hand second seat was resolved completely by the installation of the missing duct. I think that the fix that would allow the auxiliary heater to sent hot air to all the rear ac vents is the one that Ford should address. I hope you keep us posted on your efforts. Hope you get answers soon.
  16. Hey you could have a summer resident from Ambarnyy who has one!!
  17. Here's a Tire Chart with all the 16" tires and the Diameters and the plus and minus percentages
  18. Just checked the website in your post and there are a couple of 4X2 models, but they might not get over to You in Estonia. Ford might not bring in the basic models.
  19. There was another post about 18" wheels that fit . The only issue is as the wheel gets bigger the sidewall profile Gets smaller. The result of this is that the ride gets harder and the tire takes less and less abuse from potholes and on road objects .
  20. They are nice, still very famous for not much winter traction. Most of the rangers around here were four wheel drive. For Me Automatics are much better in the snow.
  21. What are the Stats on the 2.2, The Ranger is a small Pickup, and they are famous for a lack of traction at the rear wheels . Was the ranger Standard or Automatic?
  22. It would be good I bet 2.2 has good power. The Escape here can be had with a 2.0 Ecoboost Petrol that is 240 plus Hp , At the moment gas is between$1.75 and $1.95 a gallon here , so for the short term the fuel cost is fogging the economy push. One of the nice things about the 2.5 in my Gen 2 is good power , fair fuel economy and A very simple engine.
  23. The 1.6 rear end is taller they get away with it here because the Turbo puts more torque out at a lower Rpm so the off the line performance is not compromised Mrtn we are just starting to get a handle on the Idea of having better fuel economy along with lower performance expectations. The 2.5 Gen 2 goes 0-100 Km in 9.7sec. Here that is considered very marginal . Where the 1.5TDCi in Europe does the same in Just under 14 sec and is considered very good. A 550 Hp Mustang is not considered anti social unless the driver is a Jerk.
