  1. I have never noticed that before but now it'll be my burden for sure. Find a way to remove the shiny trim parts and have a friendly sign shop wrap it in matte vinyl.
  2. You'll need three anchor points anyway. A beam across the partition fixed to the B-pillars and partition in the middle.
  3. I know that, I have mentioned it before. However, looking from this side of the pond, the freedom of unsafe modifications you see on the US streets is dumbfounding. Slightly offset third brake light not meeting safety requirements seems odd. It's pretty common over here.
  4. You can get the original door mounted third brake light from ebay.
  5. There's also a community in Facebook, search for Transit Connect Campers if you're a Facebook user.
  6. We have a biannual (or annual on commercial vehicles or after the ninth year for private cars) inspection: exhaust sniffer, visual overview, tires, lights with aiming check, shock and brake tests, fire extinguisher date etc.
  7. Oh wow. There have been a few manual swap tries in this forum but never heard back from them. The diesel > gasoline swap in Gen1 is quite popular in Europe. Usually the ST engine.
  8. I fixed this in my own way, cost 5¢:
  9. It was customary for rich white folks of the day to be Nazis and racists.
  10. Did you just post someone else's home address in the public internet?
  11. I also had a worn high pressure pump which had to be refurbed to get all the power back.
  12. Can't recall, the sensor was attached to the firewall, just below the bonnet.
  13. I had the same exact issue, the hose to the boost sensor was cracked and the sensor itself was wonky. €50 later it was great again.
  14. I had the 2.3 N/A in my Mazda 6. It was amazingly slow.
  15. Try this facebook group, there are plenty of members with a flipped axle: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1402449166674335/
  16. Plenty. Look around the forum, been discussed repeatedly.
  17. Yes. The slow red blinking indicates the immobilizer being active.
  18. Mine was also having regular drum wobble. Needed replacement more often than normal.
  19. Vito van is one notch above the TC capability, so approx 800-1300 kg payload depending on the configuration. The ratchet straps were definitely wrong. Whenever I load something big in my van for a trip I stuff the space between the pallet and bulkhead. I have a pile of different stuffed cardboard boxes and bubble wrap in my warehouse for that.

    Dmf or not ??

I only know my 2006 TDDi had a solid flywheel.
  21. Yeah, well done and status well earned. As we have an intellectual female president and virtually no religion (apart from Russian minority) none of this matter and people have been pretty smart about the lockdown.
