Willygee
Used retired credit card edge to scrap off the majority then 91% isopropyl which works well but leaves a slight residue. Hit it with some quick auto spray wax to restore shine. Thinking there has to be a better way
Mike Walton
I retired from a Ford assembly plant where our cars became speckled with particles of paint overspray, we used that same method with good results.
davidparker
I usually use WD-40 on road tar, glue, etc. Its fairly safe on paint. You will have to wash it off and wax the area afterwards, but it might be a little bit better.

Mike Chell
Park farther away from the Pine Tree? We have a large pine tree in our front yard. Wife and I both take our vehicles to a local car wash. $20.00, they wash, wax and detail. Pine tar doesn't seem to be a problem.

mrtn
Just remove the large spots with paper or anything really, the rest comes off with a pre-wash degreaser.
mdarren
You can use denatured alcohol. Spray the spot and wait for a few seconds before using an MF towel.
WillMartin
I have used Lemon Pledge with good results. That gets bugs and bird droppings off of paint and everything else. I haven't needed to remove pine pitch, but I would try it on that.
