  1. I did, partially, it's the best looking of city vans. Fiat Doblo/RAM Promaster City/Opel Combo: MB Citan/Renault Kangoo: Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner Nissan NV200 (ugh): These are the options over here. Just recently the new Citroen Jumpy/Peugeot Traveller/Toyota ProAce was introduced, this has some nicer lines. It's larger tho:
  2. Heh. We would get a ticket if there's anything remotely resembling a reg plate on the car (besides the ones issued to it), let alone a real fake plate for fun.
  3. Exactly, and if there's a blank panel there which is separate from the sheet metal it's added afterwards.
  4. Cargo vans originally have no holes anywhere unless there are windows (sliding door and/or rear barn doors). If some panels were fitted to fill the hole then there were windows.
  5. The file is probably digitally "watermarked" with your personal details so they can backtrack it to the original buyer.
  6. Oh, btw, as it's winter here, snowing every day, I have had my share of traction control engaging already. With snow tires it's not bad at all. Everything works as in any other FWD car. I accelerated harder than usual yesterday and spun the front tires on bare (salt wet) pavement, the TRC engaged but didn't interfere with shifting or anything. Regarding chargers, entertainment for kids in the car, depending on the age of the kids it's not too late to have them getting used to no tablet computers or cartoons in the car. A comic book and/or a couple of toys will do fine.
  7. That's from the era when the Camry looked nice. The newest one is hideous.
  8. Guess you had not experienced violence of that magnitude before and after?
  9. This is to tell you: "you don't work on your own car, ever, we do".
  10. Okay, so the aux white led is just an additional light for the camera?
  11. No idea, but you can ask your closest distributor: http://www.prinsautogas.com/en/partners.html
  12. The same engine has been used in full size Transit and Ranger over here.
  13. The engine is rated at 197 hp and 332 lbs/ft of torque. Only minor fabrication was needed, including the engine mounts. He transplanted the whole loom and brakes and hubs so all the goodies from the Mondeo also came with it.
  14. Just checked. Only 1.0 Ecoboost for the Connect, the rest are TDCi 1.5 Ecoboost for the Focus and 1.6 Ecoboost for Fiesta ST.
  15. Oh wow. If anyone's in Facebook "transit connect'ed" group, there's a new build, road tested, being discussed: Mk1 Connect, 1.8 turbo diesel replaced by 2.2 turbo diesel from Mondeo (Fusion) together with the 6-speed manual. My God.
  16. Great idea, I was just thinking of securing mine today once I get the garage empty and can start working on logos and such. It's been discussed here before and some members have made their from aluminum composite board. I'll just go with 5 mm PVC board and silicone it to place.
  17. Bikes aren't that practical for commuting IMHO. I always ride in full gear and this means you're sweating whenever stationary and need to change at the destination.
  18. Enter your VIN in Ford ETIS site and you'll see if it was equipped with remote locks from the factory.
  19. Well, I sure can't make my usual tight turns in the new one, not even close.
