  1. Our government bought 507 of those i-MiEVs for social workers and other govt institutions. EV is more suitable in warm climate, over here they cover 75 miles in the summer and 35 miles in the winter per charge.
  2. It's actually a DIY level job with some fabrication, motor mounts + something minor.
  3. Not really. The ESP error is probably related to the wheel bearing replacement.
  4. It's about the amount of daylight and the brightness of it. We have always had DRL mandatory but we're also at the same latitude as Anchorage, Alaska so plenty of dark time from August to April. The sun barely sets in June tho. Just a couple of hours behind the horizon.
  5. Flash the high beams for a fraction of a second and the parking lights go out.
  6. Frontier/Navara is diesel only over here and it's definitely adequate. I've hauled compact diggers/frontal loaders around behind it (wide dual axle trailer) and had no issues. The suspension is a bit too "truckish" for a daily driver but the steering and transmission are accurate. Shift points are okay even fully loaded.
  7. I've driven solid panel vans for 10 years now. You'll get used to it, guaranteed.
  8. https://www.instagram.com/happycampers_/ Some stunning scenery. There are also pics of nature.
  9. Oh come on. Seatbelts and helmets actually save lives. What's a dead person good for?
  10. I don't get it. The bank should be happier issuing a loan for a commercial vehicle as this has more potential of earning money and securing payments.
  11. Very likely. My gasoline engine does. It can be checked in Ford Etis, look for "Active Grilleshutter".
  12. It should not get warm idling. Modern diesels are so effective that they do not generate any extra heat unloaded. That's why all diesels in colder territories are equipped with aux heaters (Webasto or Eberspächer). My old 1.8 TDDi did not warm up at all in winter when the aux heater was broken.
  13. Which parts? I've only read through some fun parts like maintenance and powered stuff.
  14. I did, partially, it's the best looking of city vans. Fiat Doblo/RAM Promaster City/Opel Combo: MB Citan/Renault Kangoo: Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner Nissan NV200 (ugh): These are the options over here. Just recently the new Citroen Jumpy/Peugeot Traveller/Toyota ProAce was introduced, this has some nicer lines. It's larger tho:
  15. Heh. We would get a ticket if there's anything remotely resembling a reg plate on the car (besides the ones issued to it), let alone a real fake plate for fun.
  16. Exactly, and if there's a blank panel there which is separate from the sheet metal it's added afterwards.
  17. Cargo vans originally have no holes anywhere unless there are windows (sliding door and/or rear barn doors). If some panels were fitted to fill the hole then there were windows.
  18. The file is probably digitally "watermarked" with your personal details so they can backtrack it to the original buyer.
