Thanks for the update. I saw your Forscan forum posts and you have been diligent in tackling this complicated problem.

Post this question in the Forscan forum. There may be a service procedure in Forscan that will do this. I don't understand all the PATS details. Here is info on programming PATS with Forscan. https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=839 PATS programming is supported by Forscan for your model year. Vehicles newer than 2012 or 2013 are not.

It was previously noted the cover plates simply cover the footwells that are present in the wagon version of the TC. They are safe to remove.

There is not a setting you can change to configure the air bag system as a driver seat only. Unfortunately the passenger seat air bag on/off status is controlled by sensors in the seat. I don't know if a passenger seat air bag error will affect the rest of the system. Safety protocols should dictate that the rest of the system must work. Another problem may be that once the error code is set, it may not be cleared by reinstalling the seat. You may need a scan tool to clear the code(s). Can you create enough space by simply unbolting the seat and moving it forward about 6-12"?

It's practically impossible to troubleshoot these types of computer generated faults without a scan tool like Forscan. Even then, it can be challenging. Get a scan tool and read the DTCs (yellow triangle icon in Forscan). Some weird computer faults can be caused by a weak battery. I've never experienced this (with a weak battery) but some have reported this on various forums.

What about the shocks? Another possibility is the transmission mount. Something is transferring vibration into the frame. Do you feel any shaking/vibration in the steering wheel when idling? This would be tranny or motor mounts. If it only appears when driving it is something in the suspension.

Nice setup. That's an uncommon bike rack. It seems this type would shorten the rear overhang and increase the type of terrain you could navigate. Have fun!

Start-Stop is very dependent on the battery capacity (state of charge). Some vehicles have a separate battery for SS but I don't the the TC is one. The extra battery helps keep the battery SOC high and make the SS more reliable. As mrtn said, there are lot of paramenters that will disable SS like ambient temperature so it's common in hot climates for SS to not run frequently.

I don't believe your dealerships. There appears to be a communication problem in one or more of the networks in the TC. Whenever the warning messages appear the ECU sets a diagnostic trouble code, DTC. These codes are separate from a check engine light. The codes are critical to diagnosing problems is modern vehicles. You may need to go to a sophisticated independent repair shop.They will have a scan tool to read all codes and hopefully shed light on what's happening. Alternately, you can buy a scan tool ($500+) or use a PC and Forscan to read the codes. Forscan is free. Google search this forum and the internet for more info.

What type of signal is your phone sending to the plug? I think the AUX plug needs a simple analog signal like the output to headphones.

There is not a circuit that is easy to tap into without having the electrical diagrams. There is a fuse box near the battery (called battery junction box, BJB) that has several switched circuits. There a also many circuits on the body control module (BCM) behind the glove box. The manual lists the circuits for each fuse. Some have used an "add-a-fuse" connector to tap into a circuit. Note the cigarette lighter power ports remain hot at all times.

Yes, to be safe, disconnect the ground wire from the battery (easy to access). The BCM has a lot of circuits that are powered with the ignition off.

My SWC second row seats click in. Designed for easy removal.

I think the second row LWB and second row SWB seats are the same. I have a SWB and photos of the second row LWB seats look the same as mine (60/40 type). Car-part.com has several LWB second row seats for sale. But you will also need seat belts so a local jukyard may be necessary to get all the misc parts.

Forscan is still available. You can get a free 2 month license or pay about $12 for a one year subscription. Paid license gets you technical support and you can join the forum. Wifi adapters are not recommended for making configuration or programming changes. Get an OBDlink EX or BX (Bluetooth) so you don't rick bricking your vehicle. I leave my BX plugged into the OBDII port and check things with my cellphone when needed.

There is no security code on the radios. You will have to set the date and time on your clock, that's all.

I don't have the wiring diagram handy, but the fuses are marked with their amp rating. You will need a voltmeter or test light to check it anyway, so just probe each 70a fuse (if there is more than one).

The TC wagona have a fuse box, auxiliary junction box (AJB), behind the louvered cover on the right rear of the vehicle. Here is one with the cover removed: Depending on trim level, there will be fuses here for rear climate, power seat, front and rear door locks and the power plug above the AJB. A 70 amp circuit from the battery junction box feeds the AJB. If you have lost power to all the above items, you may have blown the 70 A fuse. Check the fuses in the AJB first: F1 through F7. If they are OK we can talk about the 70 A fuse. The BJB is on the front of the battery box.

Is there an OEM rubber strip that runs the same length as the roof rails? What are you trying to do exactly? You can buy different types of rubber strips from Mc Master Carr.

My 2016 XLT has a dual note horn. I don't think the dual note horn makes 2 separate sounds. It combines two sounds.
