Euro guys flip the rear axle around so it would sit on top of the spring leaf.

Hi - Connect 1.8 230 Lx Starting from cold issues - HELP
mrtn replied to Bigbaddave3's topic in Welcome!
You might have better luck in UK forum. Americans don't get the diesel. -
The new one just looks less boxy but it actually is. It's not lost any of the utility. LWB model will be much longer than the current LWB. The 1.6 liter auto we get is thirsty (21 mpg urban), so it'll be rare amongst utility van users. It's ok for the passenger model.

Do you only get the barn doors in the US? There's also a liftgate version with full width window in Europe. -
The key is to keep the guides as clean as possible. Remove all silicone and lubricants. The only possible thing to use is technical vaseline.

You always recognize a swede or a norwegian from a battery of aux lights. -
I have. No system crash after a meal.

Explain the different Ford Transit Connect UK model numbers please?
mrtn replied to coffee_king's topic in Welcome!
Wheelbases and trim levels/combinations. The important question is whether you need a SWB/low roof or LWB/high roof. -
Oh, the big Transit. Ok.
-
Looked like they were from the same fleet :P

US: Apparently Q1/2014. It'll be over here in 2 months. I'm going to place an order next week when they get the concrete configuration lists.

Rear window leak
mrtn replied to cosmicray's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lights, Mirrors, Window Tint & Wipers
A jet washer is usually a good way to determine leaks. -
Fullsize, yes, TC will be built in Spain.
-
The most important thing: vinyl graphics. the TC screams for it.
-
No, we don't get any urea injections here. In cars, that is.

Lack of rear windows has fixed this problem for me. -
No, just cat + DPF. The newer vDPF is some kind of vaporizer DPF which' work principle I am not aware of.

They would if US would not have too strict emission requirements. I'll go gas with my next TC (the 2014 model) but only because of the auto box. Other than that, I love the diesel model. 500 miles between fillups is nice. I average 40 mpg, mostly city driving.
