Any touch screen?
-
Today you get an option of ordering a car to your own tase. I waited for months for my first new car (1996 Escort CLX 3-door) because I wanted it in Augergine Metallic paint. Noone in their right mind orders this in stock.

I had the exact same damage to mine, identical. Was fixed by the insurance co in a few days. -
You don’t need to. It’s for rolling an open-wheel race car into it. You can see it in the background.
-
I think it came with my 1989 Escort (European variant).

Never heard of anyone replacing the screen alone. It's of different shape as well. Perhaps the whole cluster?

Male pattern baldness should not be considered an issue at all. Who cares, really. I have a full head of hair but I recently buzzcut it to zero. Anybody with a receding hairline or thin patches should do the same. It's perfectly fine in the era of vindiesels and jasonstathams. -

Man, you’ve splashed into a premium gene pool. -
This has been discussed before. They're just decoration, not lights. You can order a pair and replace youself but they're really expensive, $50-60 a piece.

XR4Ti was a Ford Sierra sold under Merkur brand. There were two models exported to US under the supposed luxury Merkur brand name: Scorpio and XR4Ti. I have also contemplated getting a Scorpio Ghia hatchback (the exact model that was rebadged). 2.9i engine with the A4LD transmission.

Yup.

This will be haunting me until it's sold: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=244887582

Agreed. I learned to love it in my late Taurus.

My colleague sold his 1990 Ford Sierra wagon to some theatre director back in 1996. Saw the car a few years ago, it still had our logos on it. It was a great car. I think I should get one.

Mine has a sliding rear door on the passenger side. You can order any configuration in Europe, including no rear side doors at all, apart from the rear hatch or barn doors, you can't avoid those. No hinged rear side doors available. There is a step on the place of the non-existent left side door tho, just like on the door side. I keep my spare wheel there. Fits like a glove.

The side door is on the other side, obv.

Heh, just saw this pic in Facebook.

Fortunately I have only seen one from afar
-
That one, but it was way skinnier:
-
Yes but the rear footwell will remain open I guess.

I once had a Y-jack. Talk about unstable.

That’s a blue line only. Over here we have blue lines for paid parking spots, white lines for free ones. Solid blue spots with white wheelchair pictogram for handicapped parking.

All modern cars have been running fully synthetic since the nineties. I bought my first new car in 1996 (Escort) and it was filled with 0W-20 from the factory. Was at Ford dealer yesterday (this is a completely different topic) and there was a poster on the wall: It says Castrol and Ford working together for 100 years. Which may confirm my suspicion of Castrol being the OEM for Motorcraft branded oil.

Trouble Starting- Help!

Corroding ground wires between the battery and the alternator have been an issue with the old shape more often than not, causing similar symptoms.
