I wonder if they might have already built out that color for the 2014 year, so they might roll your order into a 2015? I also believe that this color is called Sterling Gray in other model lines.

For one, these are made in Turkey - hence the long delay. If sales increase, maybe they will begin to make these in the U.S.

To those that have ordered a T.C., please keep us up to date as to when you ordered it and when it arrives, etc. so that we can get an idea as to how long they actually take to arrive.

That's a really good deal. I cannot believe how they can even afford to sell these at such a low price.

All, I do not think that there will be any real changes to the 2015 models - just a carry over year for the short 2014 builds.

I have yet to drive the new Transit Connect, so this review will be interesting as I check it out. The pre-2014s seem to be more spartan in nature, which is why I think some people like it - as expressed by one of your comments - Thanks for taking the time to write up and post your thoughts. Looking forward to reading more once you get your T.C.

I've actually never had a problem with my SYNC system - ever. In fact, I love it. I think the problem might lay in the MyFordTouch system when accompanied with the SYNC and that's where Ford is taking a beating in their ratings from Consumer Reports, etc. SYNC by itself works great.

The 2015 will weight less than the 2005-2014s. I think that it will actually weigh less than the 1994-2004s too, this despite all of the mandated features the Feds are making auto makers add on.

I'd check with the Ford vehicle locator on http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums for build status updates. I cannot get those.

I just checked the Ford Transit Connect build schedule and they seem to be running full tilt - no down time from the scheduling.

I despise the TPMS sensors. More complications.

I was hoping that those rear seats would fold down more like Dodge's Stow-and-Go system to create a flat floor. The new Transit Connect seems less commercial and more Minivan indeed. I wonder if the Ford S-MAX is still coming stateside if that's the case?
