That's odd. Does this also mean that papers, etc. can get stuck in that same channel?

I am going to get a Ford Transit Connect - not sure if it will be a 2014 or a 2015 model year. I've been playing around with the build config. and there are a lot of way and options available in which to build your T.C. This reminds me of articles on people ordering custom Mustangs back in the day! I'd like to own the 7-passenger wagon since I will no longer be using my E350. While I like some of the option features on the Transit Connect, I find it surprising that cruise control, rear window defroster and power adjust mirrors are optional? After I built it on Ford.com it came out to $27,440 - which isn't bad considering what you're getting. XL, 7-passenger Cruise Overhead storage SYNC Cloth seats Rear defroster Optional side mirrors. . .

Interesting about the storage in the middle? I wonder if it's not offered here due to some regulations? They had to redesign it for use in N.A. for some reason.

A Transit Connect might be in my future - in the next year. I really like the previous model Transit Connect, although, the new Transit Connect Wagon seems to have a lot of space, yet short of the full-sized Transit. I really don't use my E350 that much, it's not efficient and it's just getting old and while the new Transit kicks ass, it might be too big as well.

I also think that http://www.FlatRateTech.com was selling them too.

I think you're dead on about why the Transit Connect got shorter - the Ford Transit is coming is a short wheel base.
