Wanted to thank everybody for sharing. This thread really helped me on the first step of my connect conversion. Here’s a few of my pictures of the well. Eventually they’ll be compartment hatches but I’m still working on that. the well is max hieght of 11” to the deck.1 point

If this might comfort you. Most of the plug re-thread kits can be had with a solid threaded insert and that repair is as strong as original equipment .1 point -
2010 driver side sliding door starting to fail

I've got a similar issue, except the drivers side slider never unlocks anymore unless you use the interior lock knob. I saw a video awhile back about the way the mechanism wears, it was a great detailed bit that showed a no cost repair, it is some sort of mechanical wear failure, but I can't find the video anymore! I'm still looking, and if I find it I'll post it here.1 point
