I am having an issue with my 2014 Ford Transit Connect. Randomly the fuel pressure will be too low for the car to run/start. The fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail has been replaced, as well as the entire fuel pump assembly in the tank. It is a completely random issue, whether I am driving or have turned it off and am going to start it. It was throwing an engine code for something fuel system related, but after replacing the fuel pump assembly, the code is gone, but the problem is still there. Any ideas as to what could be causing this, or a similar experience?

So I've removed the cables from the stick but how do I fully remove them from the assembly? The manual says to rotate. But what do I rotate? There's little orange things in there too. Is it them?

My 06 connect which I recently bought, I noticed the radiator isn't fully connected at the bottom. The drivers side (right) rubber foot isn't on the frame properly. It's balanced and is safe but it I'd like to correct it and make sure it's in that hole. Is this easy to sort or do I need to disconnect everything? Help?

Hi. My 06 transit connect has 110000 miles on clock. I'm worried about timing belt/chain so Ive been asking around for quotes. Two garages told me that I have a wet and dry belt. First garage said it's around £1k to change them. Second one was £700. I phoned Ford just there to make sure it's definitely a wet and dry belt set up. They told me I have a dry timing belt AND a chain. I asked if that's the one in the cassette type thing. They said yes and said I wouldn't need to change the chain, just the belt and water pump need changed. Can anyone confirm this is correct as I'm sceptical still and havnt got a clue. If this is true then why are independent garages quoting me for a wet and dry belt change when ford says its a chain and doesn't need replacing? Please help?

Hi, I just purchased a preowned (1 owner) 2017 Connect with 6200 miles. I needed a larger vehicle for my line of work and to hold all my tools and ladders. I was hoping to hear from owners of the Connect on maintenance and daily use issues if any. I purchased the extended warranty from the dealership but am able to remove and be reimbursed if I decide it’s not worth it. Right now the van is bare but I will post new pics once I have it setup with my racks and tools etc. Thanks in advance

I just purchased a used 2016 Transit Connect LWB passenger version. Selling my beloved Chevy Astro van after 15 years and 165,000 miles. Haven't driven the TC more than fifty miles yet, but so far I believe it will fit all my needs. Took out the third row seats to gain more floor space. Any worries I should have? The vehicle has 30,000 miles on it. Clean Car Fax. Thanks..

Good Day All, How should we charge our batteries on a Transit Connect? I normally attach a charger lead to the positive battery terminal and then a lead to the frame some where and then plug in the battery charger. The owner's manual does not cover charging so I am hesitant to hook up a charger to the battery for fear of harming all this computer control stuff I know nothing about. What do you say?

Hello again, I’ve promised to make a post about Ford Transit Connect blueprints here. So that's it. We at Outlines are focused on vehicle blueprints producing. These blueprints are acceptable for wrap, signwriting, vinyl graphics; for 3D modelling and maybe also for t-shirt design^^. Each template is scalable vector file (PDF, AI etc) with editable separate parts and layers. I hope it could be useful for you, mates. That what I have at the moment: Ford Transit Connect Blueprints and Drawings If you need to request any other versions or vehicles please use Request page on the website. We could produce any blueprint in one or few days. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you. Best wishes, Eli Afan

Hello all! New guy to the forum (obviously) but no stranger to forum usage/banter! I work in the motorcycle industry as a General Manager of ScootRichmond LLC and have been a "wrencher" for a little over 15 years now. I was out and about one day after spying the "latest" generation of Transit Connect and figured I'd take a look at a local dealer. Needless to say after getting to take one home for the evening, I was SOLD. I am now the owner of a BN 2015 EcoBoost Transit Connect XL VAN (Dual slider/window) in the oh-so desirable "County employee" white/black commercial scheme. The temptation of possibilities to thoroughly MOLEST it to conform to my liking and day-to-day life were the main drive behind the purchase. The first project I am taking on is to effectively sound deaden the vehicle to make it a little more "wagon" with the "van" capability of hauling small motorcycles/scooters. I've also purchased an inexpensive motorcycle wheel chock from Harbor Freight to fabricate an "on the fly" motorcycle securing system that utilizes the factory floor d-hook mounting points that are just behind the driver/passenger seats. I will make sure to start separate threads on each topic in their respective sections and I hope to see you all around the forum! Thanks for having me!

Hi I am interested in buying a 2012 Transit Connect XL Van. I have a few requirements that the van must have in order to be able to buy it. It must have the side windows on doors and the rear windows on the back doors. and it must be cheap. So my questions are these: Is the van strong enough to haul around 700 pounds in the cargo area up a hill on a highway. Second how well is the air conditioning in the van - does it well enough ventilate the van? Also how well does the heat work when it is cold in the cargo area *Note that I know there is no vent in cargo area just the one on the dashboard. Also if the van were to sit in the sun for a wile in 85 degree weather with only the front windows down how hot would the cargo are get if it were to sit for around a few hours. Thanks
