  1. Short answer, no. When i've had hitch haulers in the past, all the recommendations are that you cut the tongue weight capacity in HALF if you are suspending the weight behind the vehicle as this does. My very heavy duty VW Touareg has a 750lb tongue weight capacity (very hight) and It sags as far as I am comfortable with my 300lb dirt bike on it. Now way in HELL is a TC heavy enough. 2000 TOW capacity means maybe 250lb tongue capacity (weight on the hitch ball), which means 125lbs suspended............
  2. Van or Wagon? The cargo van I bought was noticablely stiffer and tighter than the wagons I test drove.
  3. Looks really nice! How much do you feel the gearing change?
  4. That's gotta be lowered isn't it?
  5. Nope, just measured the one 2016 I picked up Friday, just over 48". What you don't have is the weight capacity with a lot of pallets being 2,000lbs
  6. You can get either door type with a cargo van. You can fit a pallet width wise, but you don't have the load capacity to haul 2,000lbs.
  7. Fords (and most others) had a lot of trouble with the direct injection (the main issue) engines developing bad and fast carbon buildup. I've read of plenty of people needing the service prior to 30k miles. 15 minutes reading made the engine choice a no brainer for me. Especially since the turbo won't make ANY more power on regular gas. (25hp difference on my Audi 3.0 between reg and premium gas) The 2.5 seems matched to the transmission very well.
  8. I just bought a leftover 2016, does the recall apply to all models that year?
  9. The Dodge is a real turdmobile by all accounts. Based on a Fiat structure and lots of unhappy buyers in the forum I read a bit on when I was weighing options. The TC's origins gave me some pause but the reviews compared to the Dodge were night and day.
