Thanks now I have 670 miles and stil getting 290 miles on a fill up mostly city driving and I'm driving slow I was hoping for better. I try to be patient hoping it will improve over time .

Hey I checked out the preview I like the tc front better,also the dashboard is more modern in my opinion on the TC, I find the TC has just enough power ,as I moved from a 2003 Honda odyssey I feel the TC has more pick up not so sluggish clumzy and heavy as my Honda was and my Honda was in great shape, as many others has stated the TC drives like a family sedan not like a van feels lighweight wich is good ,breaks are really good too,and the dodge nine speed gearbox is sounds too much , the only thing would have been better in the TC if they would have updated the 2.5 liter engine with some newer technology but than the 2,5 liter engine been around should be plenty reliable hopefully. I dont think dodge new engine with more HP would be better on gas but I could be wrong,well if they use direct injection and high compression ratio that's an other thing like Mazda does to get more HP out of it, I think we Better of with a lower compression ratio engine, for reliability.

May I ask how many miles do you have on your van ? When did you notice the mpg was increasing? The reason I'm asking is because I'm getting 290 miles to empty according to the computer on my second fil up, I don't have a trip comp on my van tocheck the MPG ,the manual says not to check mpg until 3000 miles I'm just hoping its gonna increase over time ,I drive like a grandpa and no load either in the back. I have the cargo version long wheel base the only noise I got is coming from the crappy tires But even with original tires I have no problem making phone calls or listening to radio no complains. The wagon version should have more sound insulation all I did is installed carpet in the cargo area. The ride is comfortable

Hi i got a Bluetooth adapter its works ok but the headunit in the TC is not that powerful so i really like to have my own radio installed you said your mother and law ford escape has the same dash can you check that closely ? Thank you !

hi yes ford does not make it easy for the people who likes to do they own oil change and stuff at home, let me ask you what brand of ramp you got that fits under the van i need to get one of those. thanks

I just re-read your post and had to chuckle and comment on what you said. I've seen a bunch of the TC's on dealer lots but not passing by me from a distance. I got a good first glimpse of a TC on the road a few weeks ago. As it got closer I said, "hey, that's a TC". My first impression as it passed by, man that's an ugly van! So I guess I"m in "that camp" for now. Sorry if this offends any TC owner's. From the side, it's something about how the windows and body drops down toward the front wheel is not very appealing to my eye. The front view looks fine. I think they wanted to keep the van from being too boxy. There's no doubt it's not a Sienna, Odyssey or Caravan, which all look very similar to me. But, I'm not getting the van because it would be a babe magnet, purely for utility purposes. This is definitely not a mid-life crisis vehicle What are you talking about this is a chick magnet lol I see more tc popping up in my town less chances with the ladyes damn.

Hey could you tell me if the oil drain plug has a magnet,if not I'm about to order one, also did you use a ramp to get underneath the van or you have a lift I'm getting prepared for the first oil change at 700 miles I like to do it earlier than manual says. How dirty your oil was? Thanks a lot!

i think the placing of the door lock switch is kind of dump already but thats not only for the TC other car makers has the same thing, god for bit when you have the window broke its soo easy to just press the door open switch , but like you said if the bad guys wants to get in they will, after all Ford could have think of this i agree with the OP.

i think the front has no room for swivel seats if it would be a full size ford transit i would say make sense to find a way to do something like that . like some of those old ford vans made for camping but thats a different story. i even surprised when people talks about turning the TC into a camping vehicle when you put a mattress in the back you have no room left whats the point? when you towing a camper that i understand.

oh man you killing the little van haha how was it handling with all that weight , im gonna put some heavy machinery and material into mine as well soon ..

i think the TC seats already narrow enough i mean i like it its grabs me well but maybe already too small for some how narrow you can go...

Its seems like this TPMS is a pain in the ass than anything else.
