0% Apr for 36 months sounds very tempting no?
Johnyguy replied to Johnyguy's topic in 2014 Ford Transit Connect
That's true unless you have negotiated a deal for the cash price when you ordered the vehicle and a cash back deal comes in the picture later. -

exactly ,even if you have the money why would you give them up front if they give you the option to pay it monthly of course its make sense if you get 0% APR for 3 years ,in the meanwhile if you need the money for other things you have it , the downside of this as far as a see it is you need to get full coverage for the insurance but the amount of that depends on your driving record and the state you live at . -
very simple ford wants you to by Transit the big brother version if you want more roof space there will be no high roof version i think , im personalty like the new van thats why i ordered it and there is plenty other people too

gongrats!! what about 6 way adjustable driver seat and 4 way passenger? you did not get the heated power mirrors i mean NOT for the heating but for the power adjustment ? is daytime running light mandatory in CA adaptive cornering fog lamps thats a cool option. -
Hey that's makes sense because the 1.6 liter turbo engine Ford uses has a high compression. Thanks
-
In the tc specs at the ford website states that for the 1.6 liter turbo engine requires premium fuel to get the engine rated HP if you use regular fuel you get less HP. So I would think if you use premium fuel in the 2.5 liter engine also helps to get slightly better performance and better MPG.

I just don't get it how a better quality better burning fuel causes carbon build up.I'm sure modern engines computer adjust to the fuel mixture accordingly. Otherwise in Europe every car would have a carbon build up issue.

I thought this topic would start a conversation about how you guys payed for your van finance it or lease it or pay in full? I guess no one cares to discus it -
I'm glad you like the van I'm looking forward to my van when its gets here. I think the van looks modern i like the design. Thanks for the photos.
-
I just saw this on the ford website 0% Apr for 36 months or $1500 retailer cash. Now makes me think if I should pay full or finance, what you guys think ?
-
Could you post some pictures from underneath? Thanks
-
ool how many miles you have on it and how you like it so far ,I guess you need to move that shield to do an oil change every time?
-
i would always use 93 gas in US gives you better mileage and better for the engine to burn .
-
i would go easy on it and vary speed frequently like mostly city driving let the engine change trough the gears fast till the first 1000 miles, i would change the oil at 300 miles and than at 600 miles just to be sure its clean but dont use synthetic oil until broke in. i would not tow till 1000 miles. i would not even use air conditioner its just me i know maybe its a overkill . i do my oil change myself so its not a big deal for me i enjoy doing it.
-
That's great thanks!
-
Oh that's good news, how you like the transmission in general?.. any complaints thanks
-
Its good to check mpg when you fill up I'm not sure how accurate the computer is.
-
Thanks for the info my 5speed scion tc with a 2.5 liter engine spins at 2900 rpm at 70 and still got great mpg ,so the TC should get good mpg as well 2300rpm is pretty low

So you bought a 2013 model while the new 2014 model is out, must got a good deal on that
