vectorpickle
Does anybody know the part number for the plug that fills the euro brake light hole at the top of the Left rear door? It is shown on the parts diagram for the rear doors but there is no part number for it.

ncranchero
Good show 103 ! ! Does anyone know the number of the euro light that goes there in the non-USA vehicles?
Top Cat
I purchased mine from www.FORDPARTSUK.com He said that he had to order the part from Ford of Germany. My only problem was that I did not order the Ford threaded screw rod which goes between the lens and the plastic locking knobs. I made my own and ended up breaking the lens. I repaired the lens with long stainless steel screws and washers to hold the lens in place. It works great and looks OK. You may also want to place a few inches of reflective tape to the inside of the cavity behind the lens. Maybe it does very little, but I think that the light looks brighter with the tape. mrtn
Are you guys reverting your brake lights to original?
Willie
Its absolutely asinine that the original, in-the-door location was not acceptable to the U.S. regulators. I mean really, how much difference could it make? The rooftop location is a leak waiting to happen.
Tranzy
I agree, the Euro brake light is much better!
