ROLL DOWN WINDOWS USING KEY FOB

Recommended Posts

NEED TO AIR OUT YOUR FORD CONNECT, FAST, ON THOSE HOT DAYS. USING YOUR KEY FOP .... PUSH THE UNLOCK BUTTON TWICE (LISTENING FOR THE CLICKS) AND ON THE THIRD PUSH, HOLD IT DOWN AND ALL THE CONNECTS WINDOWS ROLL DOWN. Works on 2015 Connect's and 2020 Connect's.  Maybe other Fords.

This function is called Global Opening. I think it only works if all windows have one-touch opening/closing. You can activate Global Closing with Forscan (Global Closing appears to be disallowed by US regulations or Ford policy).

Global Opening is listed on the window sticker.  But I could never get it to work.  The dealership couldn't figure it out either. According to the service tech, those things are usually factory programmed.  At that time, he didn't have a service bulletin and could not find anything about it in the service manual.

Hey there, I just stumbled upon this old forum post, and I couldn't resist chiming in. Thanks for the tip about rolling down the windows using the key fob - that's some seriously useful info for those sweltering hot days. I'm definitely going to try that out next time I need to air out my ride. By the way, have you considered investing in some sun shades for car?

Which shades are you offering?
