Whenever we go, we leave our keys with the girl behind the counter. The owner is cool with that. We get our beer & sandwiches from them. We support them, they support us.

Boomerweps, if you wanted to, you could remove your entire air box and intake assembly. Use an aftermarket intake air tube and a cone filter at the end. Drill out a spot and fabricate a mount of some sort for your intake air sensor. Or remove only the air box, keep the factory tube with the sensor attached, and cap it off with a cone filter. Instant cold air intake.

Your emergency management team does not have mobile showers? The fire department guys won't allow you to rinse off with the water in the fire engine? Just what I've seen around here. If anyone needs to wash anything off, or rinse off, like if you're covered in soot from a burning building, we just use a fire engine which is already hooked up to a hydrant, or carrying water. I guess in the urban environment, we worry more about things like pollutants, airborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and haz-mat chemicals. Yeah, the water is cold. But it's better than being covered in tear gas, pepper spray, or asbestos. Nobody in The City worries about being skunked. I think that you're onto something. My perspective is that you can make authentic crab soup. You do need to price it accordingly, and the customers in that price range will fall in line. I live in The City. We see it all the time. Who would pay $125 for a dry aged, slow roasted, prime rib cooked in a pan of salt? Full house, 7 days a week, make your reservations 6 weeks in advance, no walk-in seating. We have a local restaurant on the corner that does not have a menu, serves only garlic roasted crab, and the price varies depending upon pricing and availability. They call it "market rate", by the pound. So when carb is $15 per pound at the local grocery store, where I get coupons on the back of the receipt: the restaurant wants $45 per pound. A 3 pound crab is $135. What? triple the retail price? Crazy mark-up, right? Until you realize that a $20 bottle of wine at the local wine shop, is $60 on a restaurant wine list. A lot of restaurants try to keep food cost to about 20%. So a $20 entree has about $4 worth of chicken, pasta, & veggies. Think about that. That is a 5X markup. In the right market, with a good location, you could be the king of very expensive crab soup. Maybe a 2 crab soup. Crab soup loaded with a entire soft shell crab, topped with an entire female crab, with the crab butter and roe in the shell. Serve it with a salad made from locally sourced fresh vegetables, fresh baked bread, and home made butter. We make fresh butter all the time. I get a quart of whole cream from the local dairy, put it in my Cuisinart food processor, and I get a chunk of fresh butter and fresh buttermilk after about 15 minutes. Thicken your soup and add a richness to the flavor with that fresh buttermilk, or use it to bake biscuits. What would you need to do? Put about $20 worth of crab into each bowl, and charge $100? You can make your $10,000 a day with 100 bowls of soup.

Pricing varies depending on the market. In my region, when fuel was really expensive a few years ago, E85 was sold for a lot less. At one point, the vehicles I drove at work were really saving money based upon the price per mile factor. Met a guy who swapped out whatever parts he needed in a Mustang, so that he could safely run E85. I guess the kit involves things like fuel injectors, fuel lines, fuel rails, and whatever seals which are susceptible to corrosion. I hear that it's long term corrosion, so nothing bad will happen to your car immediately, and you won't notice until it's too late. By then, you would have already traded your car in, and the damage is someone else's problem. Kits are available from companies like Jegs. Mustang owner says that he had his car dyno-tuned to make more power with the 105 octane rating of the E85. Some people say they notice a little more in the seat of the pants feel with E85. I know that back when smog certification still required the tail pipe sniffer, the E85 had close to nothing in every category. Smog tech kept shaking his head, and he thought that something had to be wrong, because he had never seen a high mileage V8 put out next to nothing at the tailpipe. He told me that I would be in huge trouble when The State catches on to whatever I did to mess with the vehicle.

You make "She Crab Soup"?

Ever consider a fleet service company? They can maintain all your vehicles, because you're too busy to do so yourself. Where I work at, we use a fleet service company with a fleet fuel card. Or simply make one of your employees in charge of the vehicles: keeping logs on maintenance, doing pre trip and post trip inspections, and yes, keeping the vehicles clean. It is a big deal to have clean vehicles. You, being in food service, cannot afford to show up to a catering event in a dirty van. Who would want to eat soup from a guy who can't even keep his van clean? How clean is your kitchen? I was the fleet guy at work for a brief moment. Until my boss figured out how much it was costing him to pay me overtime when I came in on Saturdays to wash all the cars. Yeah, okay. Since I had the liberty of writing my own schedule to come in on a day off, I sort of abused that just a little bit to bill for 10 hours of overtime every week, just to wash cars.

$1 a can. Just can't beat that price. It's like malt liquor in a brown paper bag.

Some cars and engines are funny about spark plugs. Weird, I know. But guys into Honda swear that NGK is the way to go. Whereas with the F-Series trucks and Econoline vans, no aftermarket spark plugs will work as well as Ford Motorcraft.......or so the enthusiast claim. On my F-150, I defied the conventional wisdom of following fan-boys on an internet forum. Amazon.com had a ridiculous price on E3 plugs ($0.88), and to me, they work. I start the truck, and it runs. But you hear horror stories all the time about how someone installed "Car & Driver" brand, or something else just as inexpensive that they found at a dollar store, and their car having nothing but misfires.

But it was hot enough for me to "roll" the windows up, crank up the air conditioning, and hide behind the tinted windows. A mysterious smoke was pouring out of the Russian Consulate's chimney. I wonder why they lit a fire in their fireplace on such a hot day. Their AC must have been working harder than they wanted, and they needed a fire to bring the temperature back up.

They are just selling to you. Look on amazon.com for H11 LED. You will find tons of options. Within the last year, literally, prices have dropped and lots of people are selling the same exact headlamps, all made in the same factory in China, then branded with their label. Compare the different lamps, and you will notice that they are mostly the same lamp.
