  1. The Carhartt seatcovers have an opening for the side airbags. They may be expensive but they sure look cool.
  2. I'm reading the instructions and it says only 250 songs can be tagged for playing. Is that total songs or songs per folder? I have less than 250 songs in each of six folders but have about 1,200 songs total. Will it play all 1,200 songs or just 250?
  3. I still have the towing receiver and wiring kit to install. Plus I want to add a 110v plug-in. The interior panel needs to be done for all the wiring so I'll do everything when I have a couple days where I don't need to drive it.
  4. I received the covers and installed the yesterday. They are better looking than the picture shows. The picture was taken with a flash and in soft light they look great.
  5. That U shaped thing on the Curt is built like a Mack truck and I feel the hitch could tow four times what the TC is capable of towing.
  6. The lights should go out after about five minutes.
  7. I can believe that. I change mine every 5,000 miles because I do mixed city/highway driving.
  8. I think most engines can go twice that distance now days. Several years ago I saw a study done on NYC taxis. Some the oil was changed every 3,5000 miles and some were changed at 7,000 miles. After 200,000 miles they took the engines apart and examined them and could not tell any difference. Cars and oils today aren't like they were in the 1950's.
  9. I usually do plugs, points and rotor all at the same time. Don't forget the dealer leaves you little paper sheets on the floor as part of the $469.
  10. For this thread we don't have to limit it to just the TC but to any gasoline engine. I heard a guy talking about his bad fuel mileage and blamed it on gas going straight through his engine and out the tailpipe. I don't see how that could happen as it would blow up in my opinion. I tried to explain that it was water from condensation that he was seeing. Any thoughts?
  11. Thanks 103west. I didn't know that.
  12. I believe all TPMS valves have batteries.
  13. A stick shift would be nice too.
  14. My mileage with the TC has been right at the advertised mileage. On the recent trip to Spokane I got 30 mpg.
  15. Welcome to the forum. I like the stripes too.
  16. I got around 18 mpg with the CV and 21 mpg with the TC.
  17. I had a 1992 and a 2001 Crown Vic and they both got around 25 mpg at 60 mph with the 4.6L engine. And they had a lot more power. My 2013 TC only gets 29 mpg at 55 mph. At the same 60 mph it gets about 27 mpg. Don't get me wrong as I love the TC as it does things the CV wouldn't do.
  18. Thanks I may try it but will have the trailer wiring where the jack goes so don't really need it to open. I'm not sure I would need access to the wiring once its installed.
  19. I would install one like in a regular RV. I actually already have one. My teardrop trailer has one that I installed and they are relatively easy to put in.
  20. How hard was it to cut out the jack hole?
