Hello Scott. G B L has a nice idea. I checked the wiring diagram for the 2010 Transit Connect and, as you wrote, there are only two speaker outputs. Adding a second set of speakers to the existing speakers may work, or it may blow out the audio circuit. Much safer to go with G B L's idea.1 point -
I don't have access to the Gen 1 wiring diagram but this could be spliced into the speaker output and split the signal into 4 channels witch would run your 4 speakers Ebay $12.851 point

On the short wheel base wagon, the seats are removable. On the long wheel base they are not. Folding the seats down in the LWB you lose about 3" of vertical height over not having the seats in. They lay pretty flat.1 point
