  2. Tom, you are correct about the Traction Control Switch "hinding". Although it is in the 2013 owners manual, it was either an option (i have not found a 2013 that has the switch), or it never made it to production.

  3. Hello carlb28. I checked the wiring diagram I posted on another topic. Not that you need confirmation, but the rear cabin lighting is on a independent circuit from the front cabin and yes, the taxi package has a switch from the drivers position to control the rear cabin lighting.

  4. zombiechad, just outstanding! Where have you been the last three years? I read from your other posts that you have sold your Transit Connect. Too bad for this forum. As for your lowering design, is it similar to the way our UK cousins flip the rear axle? Once again, terrific posts. Thank you.

  5. Hello Jack. Please use the search at the top of the page. Enter "fog lights" and chose Forum. There are four pages of discussions about fog lights. It has been one of the most discussed topics on the forum. As you mentioned, there are two different bumper covers. The bumper cover meant for factory fog lamps has the mounting brackets moulded into the opening. As for the bumper cover with the "juicers", as you will see from the search results, everyone has made their own mountings. I have had two different mounts on mine. At first I went for the easiest solution and just bought Hella lights with a round body, used a hole saw to cut a hole down the middle of the juicer and just slipped them in and attached them from the rear with their supplied mounting. It took about ten minutes per side. About a year later I purchased a set of fog lamps from eBay that included mounting that matched the factory look. It involved cutting out the entire "juicer" (took only a few minutes). Once they were installed, it is hard to tell the difference for factory. Check my gallery for pictures of both sets. Your dealer did not do you any favor by selling you the factory lights. The factory lights will need you to make custom mounting brackets just as any aftermarket fog light will (except for my eBay purchase). Many of the postings about fog lamps contain ideas about brackets. Good Luck.

  7. Here are some ideas from the UK Ford Transit Forum web site...... Re: Manually changing the direction of the heat blower??by markspark71 » Sun Jan 20, 2013 5:19 pm if you take off the heater direction blower knob you can put it direct on the side of the heater box and turn the direction from there, set it to what you want then replace the knob back in the dash, this will only work if its the cables that are at fault mine has a problem with the heater box the flaps dont move even whe all is disconnected Re: Manually changing the direction of the heat blower??by markspark71 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 6:47 pm on the side of the heater box (drivers foot well ) you will see 2 blocks a white one and a black one each has 2 cables on it the white one is the one that moves the air direction the black one does the hot - cold setting. The air direction knob can be removed from the dash and placed direct on the heater box, is this dont work remove the white plastic block with the 2 cables going to it its held on with 3 clips now place the know on the side of the heater box and try to move again if that dont work you will have to unscrew the plate on the side of the heater box and find out which of the 2 levers is stuck hope this helps

  8. Looking forward to your further adventures! I am sure you checked, but if you have not, here is some info on light bars posted in the Forum..... I added a commercial version push bar from Aires and have a picture posted in the Photo Gallery. NCRANCHERO posted the Setina website for the conventional version of a push bar. ONTHEROAD added a light bar that mounts behind the license plate. Good luck!
